A New Butch and Cassidy?

This story is mostly gonna be in Stella's POV so unless it says otherwise just assume it's from Stella's POV

I looked out across the small pond behind the greenhouse in Sunny Bay, the town Harry and I would call home for the next few months, with tears in my eyes. I was missing my close friend Yué of the Northern Water Tribe, and I was thinking about how she'd chosen to give her life so that we would still have a Moon in the sky. Next to me was her old Pokémon, Froslass. When I thought about it, Yué must have already known she was going to leave when she forced me to take Froslass. A crash next to snapped me back into reality, and I turned to my left to see something green and pointy that hadn't been there a second ago. It looked almost like crystal? That's when I heard the laughter. I whipped around, and I came face to face with a boy who had maroon hair and a green and grey outfit and a girl with the same hair color and similar outfit, except hers had red. "Mephisto! She isn't one of the princesses!" The girl shouted at the boy, Mephisto I assumed. "Well I'm sorry Praxina! I thought it was Talia, sue me." Mephisto responded. "Well what did you think THAT was?" The girl who must have been Praxina spat, pointing at Froslass. "I thought Amaru had gotten a new transformation!" Mephisto defended himself. I laughed all of a sudden, realizing they reminded me of a different annoying duo, Butch and Cassidy. They were always following me and Harry around, trying to steal our Pokémon for the leader of Team Rocket, Giovanni. "What are you laughing at pathetic Earthling?" Praxina taunted me. "Nothing that concerns you!" I retorted, grabbing my air bender staff. Praxina lunged, shouting "Aterudere," I dodged her attack, and flicked my wrist. A wave of water came up behind me and I hurled it at her. She managed to dodge some of the water, but not all of it. "Arrrghh! YOU GOT ME WET!" Then, I heard a voice shout "Ataruina!" Mephisto. I saw the dark green crystals shoot up from the ground, right toward Froslass. "FROSLASS!" I screamed, "MOVE! NOW!" But it was no use, the crystals hurled the Ice and Ghost type up into the air before she could react. I stomped my feet on the ground, and bits of earth flew around me. I took a huge gulp of air, and blew it out, spinning around at the same time to create a huge air current. Mephisto and Praxina were hit with a bit of earth before they vanished, in puffs of green and red smoke. I ran as fast as I could over to where Froslass had landed. I dropped to my knees and scooped her up in my arms. Tears welling in my eyes, I got shakily to my feet and took off toward the Pokémon Center.
