She loosened her grip on my face and whipped her hand away from me, stood up, and dusted her self off. I took this opportunity to get a good look at who I was dealing with.
Her blonde fluffy hair is what really stood out to me. How gorgeous ... Now I remember her a bit. She's that Scottish cutie who I always see hanging around with Luke and is in one of my classes. Hm, which one was it again?
My mind stopped functioning when she glared at me with her piercing dark brown eyes. It's like she can see into my soul. I felt a bit intimidated and frightened for a second or two, which felt way longer, but then she directed her attention to the door knob beside her. She twisted it right, then left, then have it a stronger tug and pushed, and pulled until she could push and pull no more.
She let out a huff and gave up on it. She looked at me in the corners of her eyes with an expressionless, gloomy face. I was still sat on the ground legs apart on my bum with my hands on the ground and arms close together in front of me, as I was leaned forward, my hands keeping myself stable as my eyes peered upwards to meet her stare.
"So, uh, what's your name?" I asked, because it was the first thing I thought which had just slipped out of my mouth.
"Tch," she scoffed through her closed teeth. "We're locked in a small confined janitors closet, and that's the first thing you blurt out?" She rolled her eyes and turned away crossing her arms.
I moved from my position and stood up, realizing that I was quite taller than her, her height only reaching about my chin. Hearing her accent was different, and I liked it. Scottish accents were kind of a turn on for me believe it or not.
"Ehm, well, my name is Ashton. Also, I'm sorry about earlier. Wasn't my intentions. I didn't even know that any one was actually in here. Are there any more people lurking in the shadows?" I joked, hoping to lift the tension a bit.
She let out short breathy laugh, and turned around to look me in the eye.
"No. Not that I know of, and I definitely don't hope so either, because having you here is enough to deal with, other than the fact that we're locked inside this container of cleaning supplies and lemony scented products. Also, I don't care what happened earlier, it never happened. Okay?" She hissed.
Wow feisty. "A-alright ... Now let's be calm because we're probably not gonna be stuck inside here for too long, I'm sure he'll come back. Or we can call someone to open the door for us, it's fine !... I hope." I spoke unsure of what her reaction might be.
She let out a long sigh, and then responded, "I guess you're right. In the meantime, just don't talk to me." She stated with a hint of annoyance clear in her tone.
I gulped as she finished her sentence and sat down on a box beside her.
"Do you have your phone?" I questioned.
"Well, I guess you don't understand what don't talk to me means. But no, I don't." She spoke back.
"Oh. Well that's sucks because I was in such a hurry I left mine in the charger this morning." I plainly stated.
"Whatever. We won't need it anyways. We won't be in here long." Her voice growing bored.
"I guess you're right." I agreed.
Minutes passed and we were still in the same position as before.
Ashton G's POV
What did I do to deserve this? I thought as I leaned my back against the cold, hard, concrete wall behind me. I looked over at Ashton as his eyes started to close as he leant on the metal shelf holding up various cleaning tools.
Okay, lets make a list of all the bad then the good things in this situation, shall we? Hmm ... Well he's kinda cute. I thank The Lord that I'm not stuck in here with some type of pedophile trying to rape my brains out. Hey, didn't he say his name was Ashton too? Well, it's a small world I guess. It's only been about ten minutes and I'm sure Luke will notice something's up when I'm not there at lunch. Unless he's to busy hanging out with Calum and he decided he won't need me anymore ...
My breath starts to quicken noticeably and I feel my claustrophobia start to kick in. It's never really bothered me in the past, but then again, I would have never had guessed I'd be locked inside a tiny janitors closet with a tall teenage boy beside me.
