Chapter 6

She woke up that morning wrapped in her boyfriends arms and she tried to recall what had happened the following night but the only thing she could remember was the phone call. Why was he calling her again? What gave him the right to come back into her life? She couldn't figure out what he was trying to do but she promised she would meet him. When she went to get up she woke him up. "Baby where you going?" he seemed upset when he asked.

"To meet an old friend. Don't worry I'll be back soon trust me," she bent over and kissed him, "I love you boo. I'll be back soon."

"OK babygirl. I love you too."

She hated lying to him about who she was going to meet. She knew good and well that she wasn't going to meet an old friend. As she walked to the park she wondered why she was actually going to meet him. He left her. Why should she give him the time of day now? As she got there she saw him standing by "their" tree. "Why did you want to meet me here?" She could tell he wasn't phased by her attitude.

"Baby I've missed you so much you just don't know the he'll I've been through since you left." He said picking her up in a hug and spinning her around, despite the fact that he knows she hates that.

"Jean-Claude put me down please," by now she was clinging to him out of fear, "you know I hate when you spin me around!"

"I know I'm sorry I've just missed you that much." he said while putting her down.

"I know you already said that," she was thoroughly pissed by now, "and you also said that I left. Which is bullshit. You left me Jean-Claude so don't try to turn it on me!!"

He didn't say anything. He just hung his head in shame, which made her feel bad.

"Jean-Claude what made you come back now?" She didn't know what else to say.

Once again he district say anything, he just pulled up his sleeve. His whole arm was covered in cuts and all she could do was stare.

"Like I said I've missed you Rae. You don't know how bad I felt for treating you that I did. I was a dick and I hate myself for hurting you. I just hope you can forgive me. I've been searching for you for months Rae. It's like you just fell off the face of the earth. Now that I've finally found you I want to make things right. Please take me back, I'm begging you." she didn't know what to say. She still loved him but after everything he put her through she didn't know if she could trust him again, and then there was her boyfriend he was her world and she loved him to death but a part of her still belonged to Jean-Claude.

"I don't know Jean-Claude," before she could say anything else he pulled her into him and kissed her. She had missed the feel of his lips so bad. She wrapped her arms around his neck but as soon as she realized what she was doing she pushed him back and ran. She didn't know where she was going but she didn't care at that moment she just need to get away.
