Kai surprising you with a teddy bear and medicine to cheer you up about being sick. It was that time of the year when flu season strikes and it hit you pretty hard. You've had a constant fever for the past week & a half, not to mention your never ending headache. The only thing keeping you from fainting was having Kai to keep your mind off of it. As you waited for him to arrive back from the store, you laid under the mountain of blankets pilled up on your bed. You shut your eyes for a moment in attempt to soothe your massive head pains, but nothing seemed to work. Sighing, you opened your eyes to find Kai leaning in the door way with a teddy bear in one hand and medicine in the other. Your face lit up with joy, making Kai smile. It made him happy when he could help you feel better about things. Whether it's physical issues, such as being sick, or emotional ones. He always wanted to be there for you. You leaped out of bed and snatched the teddy bear from his hand.
Kai: "You better thank me for that. I spent 5 bucks on it."
He grinned at you and pulled you into his embrace. You nuzzled your head into his neck and mumbled a thank you.
Kai: "What was that? I didn't quite hear you."
You leaned your head back, keeping your arms wrapped around his torso.
Y/N: "Kai, my love. Thank you oh so much for this 5 dollar teddy bear. How can I ever repay you?"
You smirked up at Kai, taunting him. Kai began to laugh, then softly pecked your lips.
Kai: "I think that being here with you is payment enough."
