i follow Zaiden out of the door and try to keep up as he shouts out orders for the search party, as he talks to his beta i cant help but look at him. and admire how sexy he is when he protecting the pack.

" oh shut up, we are their luna you should be over there with him! " my wolf hisses at me.

i just roll my eyes at her and walk torward the parents of the missing children, and the sight breaks my heart. both mothers cry all the tears inside them; its so sad and so loud that you can hear them from the garden in the pack. i walk up to the first women that lost her pup i lean down and put my hand on her back i notice she doesnt have her mate and it made me feel bad. she looks up and sees me then bows her head in respect.

" no dont bow your head " i say soflty 

" but y-you are my luna i have to "

" well as of right now to you i am a friend, and i will find your son " i tell her confidently like a luna should.

she starts to nod vigerously and i see a small speck of a smile then she wraps her arms around me. and she starts to cry i stroke her hair slowly trying to calm her down only to hear little hiccups between sobs, i lay her head across my lap and soflty rub circles on her shoulder. doing this and seeing it just breaks my heart whatever is doing this is going to die and i will do it myself .

when she finally calms down enough to go home i notice all the males are gone, great now im stuck with the questions. i stand up and walk back to the house i have a feeling they wont be back for a while so i decide to start the dinner in the slow cooker. as im putting the food in theres a knock on the door so i wipe my hands on my sides and open the door. theres a girl standing here and i have no idea who she is ive met most of the pack but i didnt meet her.

" um.. hello who are you " i ask

" hannah. who are you? " she says rudely

" excuse me, you do not speak to me like that i am your luna "

" ugh please ive been the luna since last year " she tells me 

" really oh well because when i met zaiden he didnt have mark, so um im luna " i fire back 

" oh. come. on you cant be because im his girlfriend, and your on my territory get off before i call for him and they take you the the cells! " she yells at me 

now im getting angry with this bitch i start to shake so before i kill her right here i push her away and slam the door in her face. she then screams for help thats when i smell Zaiden, i lean against the door so i can hear better.

" ugh Hannah what the hell are you doing here? " Zaiden asks 

" well babe i was coming home and my key wouldnt unlock the door "

" thats because i broke up with you like a year ago and i changed the locks after i found my mate so fuck off " 

i smile at that then i run to the kitchen but i still hear them talking.

" but im your mate!! " she screams 

" no your not you were just some girl i dated and lived with " 

" but what about that night when i gave you- "

" that was it, we didnt go any further then that now leave and dont speak to me again "

that was the last thing i heard before the front door slamed shut, hearing that he slept with him made me upset. was he a player? i dont know im confused now.
