Ayano sat down on the scarlet-red sofa. It was annoying for Ayano to sit in a very bright room, since she was used to, and liked the dark more. She caught a glimpse of a gold shine. She looked around her. Ayano got up and walked towards the source of the shine. It was caused by the sun reflecting off of medals. And when I say that, I mean it was a LOT! There was at least one hundred medals in just one trophy case. There were a lot of trophies too. Ayano just stood dumbfounded, by the amount of medals she saw before her eyes.
Budo walked out from the kitchen with a bowl of popcorn in his hands. He placed it down on the coffee table, and then walked up to Ayano. "Wow," she quietly whispered to herself, but Budo had heard her. He started to laugh a little. Ayano looked back to see Budo. "I see you found my medals," he said. Ayano's dark-grey eyes widened in shock. 'All these medals are Budo's?! Ayano thought. Budo laughed again. "Your face though!" he said while laughing even more. Ayano's expression instantly changed into an angry threatening kind of look." Are they all really yours?" she finally asked. Budo nodded and smiled." I won them all for martial arts tournaments." he explained. Ayano looked back at the medals. And then asked," how do you have so many of them?" "Well, I started martial arts when I was six years old and my first competition was when I was six and a half, I got that medal there," he told her and gestured towards the first medal in the trophy case. Ayano was still astounded on what to say. 'Six years old! That's very young to be doing martial arts!' she thought." I've been in competitions ever since," he finished. Ayano decided to ignore the trophies and medals and looked to some pictures on the wall.
She saw pictures of three people together, there was a man, a woman and a young boy. The man had black hair with a headband around his head, kind of looked like Budo. The woman had black hair as well, and looked a little like Budo too. They all looked happy." Who are they?" Ayano asked, pointing to the picture. She predicted that it's his parents, but asked anyway.Budo looked at that picture. " Oh, that's me, my mom and... m-my dad," he said like he was about to cry. Ayano knew her emotions enough, to know that he was sad." Are you okay?" she asked him. Budo sniffed and managed to show a smile. "Y-yeah, I'm fine, it's just that my dad died a few months ago and.... I really miss him," he told her. "He was my role model, he loved martial arts, just like I do." Ayano wouldn't have cared about this matter, but something made her feel sympathetic for him. She hugged him slightly and whispered," it's okay," then she let go. Budo was surprised that Ayano did that. Then Ayano went on to look at other photos like nothing ever happened. She stood in front of another one and Budo walked up to her to tell her the details about it." Oh, heh, that's me," he said. The picture was a little boy, about three or four, with black hair like Ayano's, with a martial arts headband two sizes too big for him tied around his head. He smiled brightly at the camera. Ayano giggled at that one. Budo blushed slightly and questioned," what's so funny?" She stopped laughing and went to the next photo. She was looking through the pictures when the doorbell rang." I'll get it," Budo announced and rushed to get the door.
(Budo's POV) first pov change ever!)
I rushed to get the door. It was probably the other martial artists, arriving very late. Well, that's the martial arts club for ya! Never punctual for anything. I opened the door to see no one there. I was confused but then realized what happened." Sho, come out right now," I told him. I know that its Sho, he always hides when you get the doorbell. It took a few moments for him, but he eventually came out of his hiding spot behind the tree." How did you know it was me ?!" Sho pouted. I laughed at that. "Sho, everyone knows that only you would play such a stupid prank." I explained. Sho huffed and walked into my house. I walked in too and then closed the door behind us. He sat down onto the sofa like it was his own house. I walked into the kitchen to get the rest of the snacks. I saw Ayano keep on looking at the family pictures.
(Sho's POV)
I sat down on the sofa and started to eat the popcorn. Being a martial artist, you don't really eat these kind of foods often, so this was a treat. I ate all of the popcorn and then got bored. Budo walked in and placed down more snacks. He rolled his eyes and sighed when he saw the bowl. He then picked up the empty bowl and walked into kitchen again. I heard the doorbell ring so I decided to answer it, since everyone else was busy. I opened the door and Mina and Shima appeared in front of him. " You're late," I informed them." Really?" Mina asked sarcastically. The girls walked in. Me and the girls sat down on the sofa. Shima started to eat the chips that were on the table. Mina just sat there drinking a can of coke. I grabbed a can of coke as well and started sipping on it. A few seconds later, Ayano walked in and sat down too. She didn't touch the food, she just sat there daydreaming. I have to admit, she's kind of weird. The doorbell rang again. I ran to get the door. There stood late little Juku." You're late," I told him. Juku just smiled at me sheepishly. I stood to the side so that Juku could come in.
