I sat on the pavement outside of the hotel as it began to rain. The cold water dripping down my face.

"Today is not my day" i looked up and saw across the road was a cute couple making out.

"Are you ok m'am?" A boy in ripped jeans and a tank top, a penny board in hand asked me as he sat down besides me.

"No, not really. I'm having a day from hell" i slightly laughed. "Want me to walk you home?"

"It's ok, i don't have a home to go too"

"Oh no, i could always offer you a place at mine, my parents wouldn't mind"

I hadn't really had the chance to take in his facial features. A lip ring, hanged from the corner of his lip, his jet black hair and a tattoo covered arm.

"Sure, that would be great" He helped me up and we walked towards his house.

"I hope you're not going to kidnap me!" I laughed to myself.

"I hadn't thought of that until now, thank you for the idea. I'll get my mother to set up the basement, right away"

I had noticed something very strange.

"That's great but why do you look so rebellious yet your accent is very posh?" I laughed.

"Because i don't believe in using slang and using the world wide web unless for homework of course!" he smirked.

"That's how you don't know who i am"

It felt great to be able to be around someone that doesn't freak out the moment they lay eyes on me.

"Should i?"

"No it's ok, so how far do you live?" I asked.

"Right here"

We turned the corner and there was a house the size of my neighbour hood.
It was a secured house, a security guard waited outside.

"Hello Richard, meet my new friend-" he paused for a little while and then looked at me.

"Danielle, Danielle Bregoli" I smiled while shaking his hand.

"Nice to meet you Danielle! Right through that gate" We both walked through and headed towards the front door.

"You know my name, so what's yours?" I asked him as he was about to reach for the handle.

"Luke, Luke Roberts" he smirked.

He swung open the door to reveal the most beautiful house i think i've ever seen.
"Woah; this corridor alone is the size of my house" my mouth dropped and my eyes widened as i spotted the chandelier, hanging from the fine printed ceiling.

"Follow me" He placed his penny board inside a box that was by the front door, grabbed my hand and led me into the kitchen.

"Dear mother, this is my friend Danielle, she's having a lot of trouble, sadly. Could she stay in the spare room? she means well" he placed his hand on to my shoulder and smiled.

"Lucas, you know how i feel about guests i've never met before. Remember what happened with Fiona Wellington, oh that was a horror story and a half, she ended up nicking half my jewellery and your great grandmothers ring!" She shook her head.

"Daniella isn't like that mother, honestly, she's a bright young women, in need of a place to stay, not for long either"

His mother looked me up and down.

"She looks like something outside of one of those party places, clubs!" she sneered.

"Sorry, she didn't mean it, Mother don't be so rude, please excuse me while i go and show Daniella to the spare bedroom"

He held my hand and took me up the stairs.

"Wow, nice to know i'm appreciated" i laughed.

"She means well, she's just been brought up in a very stubborn way"

"Here's the spare room, ill let you get settled, my sisters room may contain some clothes of your size, i'll get her to bring some in, in about an hour or two, letting you get settled first"

I smiled widely at him.

"Thank you so much Luke" i wrapped my arms around him and breathed his earthy smell. The smell of nature surrounded his body. i loved it.
