Gigi was very successful in her business , however successful though she  was she had never wanted success in this way. at the age of 20 she had lost her parents in a tragic car crash and had to move with Anwar to their maternal grand parents house who she had never met before ( as her mother Victoria had married against her parents wishes to a car designer David and they had refused to accept her as their daughter after that) but the death of their daughter made them realize their mistake and in order to put right the wrong done by them   , Mr.Mohamed Hadid and Mrs.Yolanda decided to become the legal guardians of their grand children and gave them both all the love they couldn't give their daughter, only to die two months later leaving Gigi and Anwar yet alone in this world but this time with a much greater responsibility on Gigi's shoulders as now Gigi had to manage all her grandpa's business and property which included

the house of Hadid - A triple storey mansion, a chain of luxurious seven star hotels, a car company and a real estate agency. Cool right!?  But all of this came  to Gigi with a heavy price of giving up her lifetime ambition of becoming a doctor and start managing her grandpa's business which for an 20 year old she did surprisingly well with the help of her grandfather's loyal assistant Julie. During this time Gigi also had to bring up her 8 years old brother Anwar and 6 years from now you could have hardly said that this was the same teenager who had entered the threshold of  the Hadid house over a decade ago.  in a short span of 4 years she had increased the company profit rate by a whopping 45% and shut the mouth of all those who had said she was too young to manage such a wide business. To achieve this Gigi had worked 16 hours a day (no less no more) the rest of the day Gigi spent with Anwar and Grace (some quality family time) , also she had her weekends completely  off "Saturdays for parties , Sundays for families" Gigi would reply when asked about her weekends.
