The Other Side

There once a two family that's been friends for a generations. 

The Capulets and the Montagues.

The Capulet has one daugher named Juliet.

While the Montague has two son, Romeo and Paris.

Because of the partnership in business, they become bestfriends. 

They were so close that they started arranging marriage for each other's child.

"My boy, Paris, might be the best for your lovely daughter." said the Lord Montague.

The proposal was accepted and both families agreed but little did they know, Juliet wanted Romeo more than anybody. 

She liked him for the very first time they saw each other. They never know how shivers ran down her spine the first time they hand shake. No one ever know that she's willing to die for him and nobody can change that. 

But, Romeo on the other hand has been always head over heels for Rosaline. All the things that Juliet's experiencing ---- the love at first sight, the shivers and the life sacrificing ---- is what Romeo experience too but not for Juliet but for Rosaline, a maid of the Montagues.

"You will be marrying Paris, my lovely daughter." said Lady Capulet while they're taking their breakfast.

"Why?" asked Juliet.

"To expand our business." said Lord Capulet.

"But why him? Why not Romeo?"

"Paris is a lot more formal and business minded, Juliet. While Romeo is just a boy who's carefree and know nothing about business." Lady Capulet explained.

Juliet got nothing to do even though it was against her will.

Untill one day, she decided to confess to Romeo. 

"I've always liked you Romeo." she said with truth written all across her face. 

But on that day, Romeo was a broken hearted man because that was also the day he confessed to Rosaline and got rejected. 

"I liked you too." Romeo lied. He never liked Juliet but this time, all he want to do was to mend the pain he's experiencing.

But then Juliet rejoices making a fool of herself.

"But my parents want me to marry your brother." 

"Then let's run away." Romeo blindly answered.

And so that's what they did.

They ran away from everything and lived together in a house.

And when a girl and a boy lives together, you can never avoid for it to happen. And you know what it is.

Because of it, Juliet got pregnant but they never know it. They're not yet aware of it.

Until one day, Romeo decided to be honest with Juliet.

"I really never loved you." he said looking straight to her eyes.

With all the pain, Juliet run away from him as Romeo followed her.

"Juliet! A car is coming your way!" Romeo shouted but she didn't listen. 

She kept running until she got almost bumped by the car but thankfully, Romeo saved her.

And that's when he realized that he already loved Juliet and he regretted hurting her.

"Forgive me." he said.

And immediately accepted by Juliet. 

Now, they lived happily together as they help Paris managed their business.

5 years had passed. 

Reaching home, they lie on their bed exhausted from all the work they've finish.

"Goodnight love." said Romeo to Juliet.

"Goodnight sweety." she answered as they both closed their eyes.

But suddenly, she heard crying. Her daughter was crying in her bedroom.

She was about to stand when suddenly, she wasn't able to move.

"What's happening?" she asked 

Then a light flashed through her eyes making Romeo and everything disappeared in her eyes.

Her eyes squinted by the light until it finally closed.

And when she opened her eyes, she was laying in a hospital bed, all dressed up by the hospital gown.

"What happened?" she asked as she sat down confusedly.

They door suddenly opened, as Paris walked in.

"You're awake!" he exclaimed excitedly that got Juliet even more confused.

"What do you mean? What happened? Where's Romeo? Where's my daughter?" 

She has a lot of question and so Paris decided to tel her the truth.

The truth that....

In the car accident, Romeo was able to save Juliet but wasn't able to save himself. 

He died. 

And the child inside her died also.

And she went into a comatose for 5 years.

Juliet being hospitalized for that long got the Capulet on debt so while asleep, she got married to Paris so the Montague was able to help them.

Now everything changed and she doesn't know if she'll be able to keep up with the pain that the love she experience was just a dream.
