*Echo's POV*
I wake up in a cell. Aphmau was sitting next to me. She seemed to be crying. I tried to go over and comfort her, but my hands were coveredg in these metal cuffs and I was chained to the wall. She was to but she had a small pair of cuffs. She heard the noise and looked over.
"Aph..."
"Ec-Echo. I'm so glad you're alive."
"Me too."
"Do you know who is doing this?" She whispered.
"Gene. I saw him before I was thrown in the van. I tried to stop it but I couldn't I'm so sorry Aph."
"Echo it's okay."
"No its my fault we're in here."
"I think it's both of our faults."
"Because he didn't get his way with either of us."
"Yeah..."
"Hello Kitty and Puppy."
"I thought it was F/N?" I said.
"Well we talked it over and thought it was stupid." Zenix said coming out.
"Why did you kidnap us?" Aphmau asked.
"First off I didn't kidnap you."
"Yes you did!" I yelled.
"No I abducted you."
"Same thing." Aphmau said.
"Yeah but it doesn't sound as bad as the other word."
"Boss, should I leave?" Zenix asked.
"Yes. I have some unfinished buiness here with Echo."
He looks over at me.
"Don't so this around Aphmau please."
I mumbled.
"So you don't want her to hear your secret?" Gene said.
"Echo, what is he talking about?"
Gene dramatically gasps.
"You didn't tell your best friends?!" He over dramatically said.
"I only told Aaron and he basically found out from you. The first part of it."
"Does he know about your dad?"
"Yes."
"*gasps* when did you tell him?!"
"Earlier today."
"And that took four year to tell him?"
"What's going on?" Aphmau said almost yelling. Gene looked over at her.
"Oh what is going on you shall ask? Why I'll tell you. Shall we start from the beginning Y/N?"
I got mad.
"Your name isn't Echo?" Aphmau looked at me. I looked at the wall.
"So you know the whole story of Irene and Shad right Kitty?"
"Yes..."
"Well Irene and Shad are Y/N's parents. Well were. Irene was killed at the hands of Shad while Y/N just watched. Shad started to abuse Y/N blah blah blah. You don't want to hear about that so I'll just explain what I want."
"Echo?" Aphmau said her voice cracking.
"Guess who's next in line for Shadow Lord?" Gene said coming over to me and lifting my head up. I gritted my teeth.
"All it takes is for her to turn 25. And guess who's turning 25 tomorrow? That's right. Now I'll be heading out to plan on my new rule as The Shadow Lord." Gene said walking back to the door and I noticed a mirror. It was two way. I used my thermal vision to see no one behind it.
"Echo... can you, please, tell me?" Aphmau said her voice was strained.
"Well... Where should I start?"
