There is so much hate, and distrust, in the world today. This caused me to take stock of myself, to see if I was okay. I asked you to do the same, and you balked. We argued and yelled. In the end you walked.
Away from me, and away from you. Maybe you're not ready to do what you know you should do? Our world is filled with such calamity, it's enough to lose your sanity! With "fake news", and the lies, where is the actual honesty? Only through taking a self inventory, will you find the blessings of serenity.
Those we put in charge are oh-so-good at being cunning. Conflicting words leave my head and heart drumming. Have we all lost sight of North, on our moral compass? The pain in the world, so overwhelming, and it's roughness... it's time to speak up. Reiterate our nation's principles. Let go of what we thought. Stop being so cynical. Enough of the fighting. Patriotism will help us rise. We have no choice but to compromise. To those in charge here our cries! The refusal to come together, will be our demise.
Dear the Left, and dear the Right, this is no longer a separate fight.  Just the woeful people's plight. We all should have our voices heard. Make no mistake, the lines should not be blurred. All the lines we've drawn have become so absurd.
To the President, I hold for you a personal affection. So I can say, stop trying to prove your perfection. Focus only on this country's direction. Even you are flawed, but YOU won the election.
To the lost souls that feel they will never agree with the man. Give him a chance. Trust that he has a plan. Maybe he's really not the boogieman. We've got to see him for what he is, a businessman. What we ALL need, is an honest middleman. Only then can we begin to understand.
Then again, what do I know? I know this, you reap what you sow.
Nothing in life is free. Do you or don't you agree?
If not I'll do my best to help you see.
Just by simply being me.
