the beginning

"Dang ill go with you pops"my brother said before walking outside with my dad and they both took about 13 bullets...i was only 9 i didn't understand why it happened..but i knew what happened...im 19 now and i live in California with my sister who's 21 we used to live in New Orleans..my mom was a junkie who passed due to a Heroine overdose but i grew up trying to make it with my sisters..we both own SHE products for hair and i do like a little modeling but only for fitnes stuff
Present day
"Omg you have to go"i said to Kaileen as she dressed for bed when she had a date
"No where you gonna be ?"she asked i looked at her crazy
"I know you lying bitch im going to be here while you go out"i said
"Oh yeah well let me go get ready"she said i nodded as she went upstairs i went in the kitchen nothing..ugh while she's out i guess i can go make a few midnight groceries
"Happy im dressed"she said coming down i smiled
"Great now im going to go to Walmart and make some groceries"I said
"Here i already made a list so you take it"Kai said handing me her grocery list
"This is a lot"i said she laughed
"We cost a lot so deal with it"she said and walked out i rolled my eyes...
"Hoe"i said and she laughed at me shutting out door

"Okay so this list says Pepper but what kind of pepper"i said to myself
"Theres only one kind of pepper shawty"a dude said walking up
"Oh lol thanks"i grabbed it and dropped it in the buggy and read what was next on the list
"Im Kam what's ya name?"he asked i smiled brightly
"Sevyn"i said
"Thats very attractive"he said
"Kam is too"i said
"Thank you thank you"he said
"Kam come on man we ain't got time for you running your mouth"a dude said
"Man yall in my car don't rush me yall can walk to yall destination"Kam said i laughed
"Look you can go..here's my number"i said writing it on a piece of paper and giving it to him
"Alright I'll text you"he said i laughed and continued shopping

12:25 p.m
"Have you not seen the time"I asked Kai as she walked in the house i was up cleaning
"I know but we had so much fun last night I just stayed with him"she said
"You could have texted me"i said
"I called"she said
"Did i answer ?"I asked
"No"she said
"Okay common sense would have said for you to text me instead"i said sometimes i act more like the big sister than she does
"Okay im sorry but im okay Sevyn damn nothing happened im good"she said walking upstairs i shook my head and finished sweeping and i sat on our couch and i got a text from an unknown number
Sorry for taking forever to text you, my friends and i went to a party and im just now waking up, but what you up to today?
I thought about the dude from Walmart and smiled outta no where, i told him he was good and that i had nothing planned and he wanted to go out for lunch at 1:30
I don't do relationships since my pops and dad was killed i was never interested into dating Kai on the other had just recently started dating i still am not..i should start but its so hard bc i lost both my parents my big brother and all i have left is my sister..im so scared to lose her and I don't want anyone to enter my life to then have them leave again
"So who was that guy from the store last night"Kai said plopping on the sofa beside me
"His name Kam he really cute and has super long hair"i said
"Sounds cute"she said
"He's coming to pick me up you can meet him then"i said she smiled
"Well Dwayne coming over for a little bit so let me go get ready for him and you go get ready for Kam"i nodded and went up to my room and began finding me something to wear
