Two of the kids step forward, one a tall and pale girl while the other has a dark tan and falls to the girl's shoulder. Both of their hairs are pinned up in messy buns and dyed the same bright pink. If I ever would ask my mom to dye my hair, she would completely freak out. Though, I don't see why.

If I didn't know better, I would guess these two are twins. Though their skin tones aren't the same, both have freckles lining their shoulder and forehead, in the exact same places. Their eyes are a deep, youthful green and even their makeup matches to the last point.

"Hi Callie, I'm Allie and this is my sister Annie," the pale girl says. Her voice is smooth and she takes short breaths as her red lips coil into a sly smile. Her sister joins in with the same smile and the two hook arms while just staring at me, rarely even blinking.

"Um...hi I guess," I mutter, not even knowing if they could hear me. My eyes wander to the carpeted floor and my foot digs into it as awkward silence fills the large room.

"Allie and I will escort you to your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd classes while Jake here will take you to the rest," Annie says robotically, her free hand pointing to a small boy sitting behind the twins while typing away on his thin laptop. He looks up for a second and gives a geeky smile, his fingers moving to lift his sunglasses from the bridge of his nose. "I see you already met the principle, now, let's go or you'll be late."

My eyes dig into their faces as I try to scan for any sign of an expression change, but it stays the same - the look shows nothing. Just nothing. "Don't I have ten minutes till my first class starts?" I counter, pointing up at a glass clock strung on the wall, the arrows both standing on point at 8, and according to the crumpled paper underneath, class doesn't start till 8:11.

"No! Class started a minute ago," they say at the exact same time, their thin eyebrows furrowing in anger as Annie grabs my wrist roughly, her galaxy nails digging into my skin, barely breaking it.

Wincing, I look to Jake for help, but he just smiles sadly, giving a small nod as he mouths two words; 'I'm sorry.'

Not knowing what is to come, I stare at the twins with wide eyes. "What about the principle? I'll just have her show me around,"
I whimper out, my eyes staring down at my wrist as Annie's nails dig deeper.

"No. She is a nothing here, we only use her to keep our appearance," Annie growls out, Allie swatting her in the back in the back of Annie's head. "I mean...she's busy," she restates, now dragging my helpless body out of the office.

My feet drag against the floor and in seconds I'm racing to catch up, trying my hardest to match their pace. "Please slow down!" I say quickly, my feet tripping over each other as I dive to the floor for another floor.

"No...you're late, no one is ever late," they state together with a hint of anger to their voice. "Now come ON!" Annie adds, pulling me forward while nearly taking my arm out of socket.

I try to pull away from her grip. whimpering softly in pain, but her grip only tightens as their pace quickens. "Please let go of my wrist," I demand, my voice stern while also hopeful that she would let go. She finally releases, her nails getting stuck for a quick second before she turns back to me with a smile plastered on her face.

"Here we are. You have science with Hamshaw and luckily, so does Allie and I," she says. I nod and grip my wrist softly, the nail marks leaving a dark purple bruise with a red tint to it; dry blood. "But don't worry, the teacher is pretty cool," she adds quickly, her sister twisting the doorknob and pushing the door open to reveal a large, nearly silent classroom.

The twins enter first and I follow in behind, my eyes scanning the small room. Kids sit in rows of two and their eyes land on me, making my face become warmer and warmer in embarrassment. They sit on stools, glasses and acids put in front of them on grey marble counters, each one near identical to the next.

The twins sit at the one in the back, each going completely silent ones taking a seat. I follow them and turn to my left to face a tall, slender girl sitting next to an open seat. Her head turns and she smiles at me, her hand patting the stool next to her. The only noise in the classroom comes from the bubbling of the classroom and I slowly, and cautiously, sit down. My attention turns towards the front of the room to a large wooden desk, papers scattered on top.

"Welcome to class Callie," the voice is young and youthful and the large seat wheels a 180 to reveal a small boy with a clipboard in his hand. "I see you already met the twins," he says, pointing to Allie and Annie, who both stare ahead blankly. I nod numbly at the boy, wondering where the teacher is and why he isn't in trouble for impersonating him. His dark, mysterious blonde hair spikes in the front while the rest is ironed, his clothing a green colored suit while his beard is trimmed neatly.

Raising my hand, I attempt to ask the question that I'm guessing everyone is wondering as well, "where's the real teacher?"
