"how'd you know about the extra spring onions? you'd need to be a regular to know that," a voice quipped from across her. miyeon looked up from her tasty-looking food in confusion.

"i'm sorry?" miyeon stuttered out. she was a regular here, and has been since her university days. it was one of the reasons why she loves the place so much; it felt like her little safe haven, despite it growing bigger by the years.

"the extra spring onions. not a lot of people know that," the guy replied back. miyeon was stunned; this was probably the first time her booth buddy— as she liked to call it— had tried to make conversation.

"well, i-i am a regular here. have been since years ago," she replied, stuttering a bit, followed by some mental cursing. "like you really had to curse".

"well that explains," the boy ended his talk with a murmur. miyeon was still shook until she remembered her ramen that was starting to get soggy and started to dig in.
