Chapter 6

    "Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit!" I shouted. "Yerin! No cursing. We still have minors over here." Sowon said strictly while pointing to SinB and Umji who are standing behind us while whispering things to each other and laugh. "See what I told you? They learn very quick." Sowon shakes her head. "Sorry eonnie, I'm just mad at that assh-" Sowon gave me a dead glare. "I mean that guy. He is just so plain rude and mean." I told her with my hands gesturing like I was about to crack a mountain in half with it.
     Sowon eonnie smile. "But he's cute." As soon as she said that, I remember how he looks like when he get close to me earlier. I can feel my cheeks getting warm. "I...I didn't notice." Why am I talking like this? I bite the inside of my cheeks. Sowon eonnie smirk then wrap her arms around my shoulder. "Uh huh? Is that why your blushing then?"
     I look at her with wide eyes. "No, I'm not." Sowon eonnie laugh "Yes, you are. I just want to remind you, don't hate a person too much. Like what the old folks use to say, 'The more you hate, the more you care, and as you care, you will fall in love.'" Then she walks ahead of me. I just stare at her back. I feel a tap on my shoulder and I turn around to see SinB smiling sheepishly with Umji at her side looking curious.
    "Eonnie, are you sick? Why are your face so red?" Umji says out of concern. SinB link her arm with Umji. "Don't worry, Umji-ya. She is okay. Only her heart is a little 'unwell'." I give SinB a 'wtf-do-you-mean' look. She keeps on smirking. "What do you mean, SinB-ya?" Umji says innocently. I smile at her. Why is my dongsaeng so cute? I ruffle her bangs. "Nothing Umji-ya...SinB is just being her mental self."
     SinB unlink her arm with Umji and fold her arm while pouting and stomping like a child. "Yah! Eonnie! I'm not mental!" Umji and I burst out laughing so loud that everyone is looking at us. "SinB-ya, you look like a mad person." Umji says as we continues to laugh when SinB shows us her reaction. Her face was too funny.
     "Huh, crazy bitch." A person talks slowly. We both stop laughing the moment that person says the word. We turn around and saw that jerk. "What did you say, sunbae?" Umji ask him politely. He just look at us with no interest than look at other direction. "You, and that dummy, your laugh are so loud. It makes my head hurt. You guys are annoying." He said. Or might I said spat those words like its were poison?
    Umji looks down. Her eyes forming tears. "Sorry, sunbae." Then she ran away with SinB running after her, shouting her name. I whip my head to him. "You, are such a jerk. I don't care if you being mean to me. But why are you being mean to Umji? She is just an innocent girl. She never do anything wrong towards you. If I ever saw, or hear you shout or being rude and mean to her. You! Are! Going! To! Pay! FOR IT!" I shout the last word to him while pushing his shoulder. He look so shock after I shout at him.
    I turn on my heels and walk away. That guy just know how to get under my skin. I walk to the direction where Umji ran.
    After a few minutes. I found Umji sitting on a bench by the coffee vending machine with SinB trying to stop her from crying. As soon as I arrive there, they both look up at me. I become so heartbroken seeing one of my favourite dongsaeng cry. I look at SinB "SinB, you can go rest at the dressing room. Let me stay with her." SinB just look at me. Then she look at Umji and looks at me again. I give her a smile and small nod and she stands up and walk away.
    I look at the sobbing Umji and take a seat besides her. I wrap my arms around her, trying to give her a comfort. Umji has the most sensitive heart. She might look strong and happy but actually she is very fragile. As I hug her, she turns her face towards me. With much difficulties, she manage to say "Did I do something that offended V sunbae?" I push back her fringe. I shook my head. I feel myself gets teary to by looking at her crying face. "No, he's just a jerk. Don't mind him."
    "Ehem!" Someone interrupt us. I turn around and saw Suga sunbae looking a bit awkward standing facing the vending machine. Realising that both of our eyes on him. He turns to us. Smiling. As his eyes shift from me to Umji, his smile turns into a frown. "Why are you crying?" He ask with gentle voice. Umji look down, covering her puffy face with her hair. I look at him again and he is looking at me with a face that shows that he was expecting an answer.
    "Well, V sunbae says something rude at her." He look dumbfound. "Why?" I took a deep breath and tells him the whole story. He was listening to me carefully, and nods once in a while. We shift our gaze to the still sobbing girl besides me.
    He then walk to her side and kneel down so that he is looking at Umji, eye to eye. "Hey." He says softly. I just sit there watching them quietly. Umji looks up at him. He gives her a sweet smile. "Don't cry. You know, V normally doesn't act like that. Maybe he just have a bad day. I mean, maybe there is something bothering him. Trust me, he is a good guy. And you, stop crying. Smile already, okay. You look cute when you smile. Say, if you stop crying and smile, I will treat you ice cream." Umji then stop crying and wipe her tears with the hem of her sweater. She then slowly gives her cutest smile.
    I smile at the whole interaction that happens before my eyes. I look at how Suga sunbae eyes glows up the moment Umji smiles. Looks like someone is fond of our maknae. I smile wider. Then again, they must look good together. They are both cute and sweet. I can imagine them being a great couple. I wake up from my day dream when I hear laughs besides me. Umji and Suga sunbae are laughing. He must have told her something funny.
     "Well then, a promise is a promise. Come, lets go buy your ice cream." Suga sunbae said as he gets up. Umji face lights up. "Really? You're buying it? For real?" She said disbelief. He nods his head with a smile on his face. "Yes. For real." Umji then hugs my arm. I turn my face to her and look at her lovingly. "Eonnie, did you hear that? I will get an ice cream." She said happily. Aigoo...why is this kid so cute. I pinch her chubby cheeks lightly and smile.
    "Yerin-ssi, mind if I take her for a while?" He said politely. I nod my head. "Sure, you can have her. But please take care of her. She is our treasure." He smiles and nods. I watch as they walk out of the door. I let out a sigh before I get up and walk towards our dressing room.
    As I reach our room, I saw Sowon eonnie and Eunha are watching drama on the laptop while Yuju is talking to SinB. Yuju looks at me. "Eh? Where is Umji?" "She went out with Suga sunbae." I told them. "What? Suga sunbae? The cold looking one?" Eunha ask. Then out of blue SinB stands up. "Eonnie, we can't leave hef with him. Who knows if he bully her. Since people says he has cold personality. Lets save Umji." She quickly walk past me but I was fast enough to grab her elbow.
     I shook my head then smile. "No, trust me. She is with a good person." As I said that, their cute interaction just now replay in my mind. "Yah, eonnie, whats with that smile of yours?" She ask. I just shrug and take a seat next to Yuju before closing my eyes. Yes, I trust her with him.
