This story begins in a beautiful garden on a balcony of a big mansion which was located far, far away from the rest of the city. Where everything seemed distant and peaceful. The house itself could grab the attention of the people passing by, but it was the beautiful garden in the balcony that made heads turn. The garden was so beautifully placed and grown, it appeared as if the garden was floating in mid-air or as if the doors of heaven have opened to reveal the heavenly fountain. The balcony was semicircular in shape, covering both sides of the balcony were a set of tall green trees, the porch of the balcony was covered with creepers, amongst the wall of green hung a magnificent big cage.

This cage was a home for a cage bird named Austrin. It was a regular day for Austrin, she had just finished eating her seeds and was watching the sunset from her cage.Unlike other cage birds who were beautiful with bright colours and melodious voices, Austrin was a rather simple bird with black almond eyes and white feathers which sometimes reflected the shade of grey, as an illusion. Her beak was tiny but perfectly shaped and she had a rather cute chubby appearance.Having finished seeing the sunset she turned towards the rest of her cage and flew up to her rod and started to swing while she waited "what's taking him so long" she said, "he's never this late". After about ten minutes of swinging the door in the room of the balcony opened and a boy about the age of 19 entered dropped his bag on the chair and came straight towards Austrian's cage. He was a smart and handsome boy with black messy hair and blue eyes, he wore a grey hoody and blue jeans, as he was moving towards the cage austrin said,"o you are late Olin, half an hour late I was waiting for so long." Without understanding a word Austrin had said Olin smiled and said,"There you are my cute little birdy, you always chirp when I come home soo sweet." he opened up the cage door and stroked her head and cheeks with his finger as if he was trying to tickle her cute furry white cheeks."I am hungry ima grab myself some seeds Austrin" he said and walked away giggling and feeling proud of his own joke. This made austrin laugh too she liked Olin, she liked being his friend. She was know all alone in her cage, swinging and singing on her own.Although she didn't have a beautiful voice she liked to sing.It was night now, and the sky was clear austrin could see the stars twinkling and shimmering in the pitch black night. She wondered whether the other birds who were not in cages could fly and see the stars, maybe they can pick them up with their beaks and change their positions.A bush beside the cage moved and austrin stepped back "hay" said a voice from behind the bush, Austrin stayed still.

"hay hay." said the voice again. She stayed quiet not daring to make another sound.

"has it started yet." said the voice. It was after hearing this Austrin sighed with relief and said, "Victor you scared me."

"come on you live in a cage there is no way anything can harm you in there princess." said Victor

and a brown owl came swooping down on the branch next to the cage.He had large green eyes and a little black beak. "hey long time no see where have you been?" asked Austrin.

"I was on a night stroll for a couple of days." he replied "oh has the box with the bright lights and colours opened yet, I can't wait to see, where is your owner birdy?" he asked excited and thrilled.

"It's called a television victor." said Austrin "Olin went to grab himself some seeds." she replied and started giggling.

"is that one of his bird jokes again?" asked Victor

"yes," she replied with a beautiful smile.

The door opened and Olin entered with a bowl of popcorn in one hand and a cool drink in the other. He closed the door behind him with his leg.It was movie night today, every week one-day olin would watch a good movie and enjoy his heart out. While the other boys his age would hang out in parties and watch sports and do lots of crazy things, Olin was just super interested in stories and he had a good taste in them too.He set the things down on the table in front of the couch and began the impossible search of finding the television remote control. He would look under the table, the mat, in the closet, the bathroom sink, his study desk while Austrin calmly watched him search.
