The Limits of Love

Chapter 3

I fluttered my eyes open and was blinded by bright lights and a beeping sound. I turned over and saw Paige knocked out in a chair and a puddle of drool next to her. I gagged and got out of bed walking around it.

I stepped in the bathroom looking at my reflection. My skin was gray and my eyes were dull and my throat felt dry.

I turned off the light and walled toward Paige kissing her cheek. She shot up wide eyed and wiped the drool from her chin.

"You should rest some more we can leave after the doctor run a few more tests" she picked me up setting me back in bed draping the covers over me.

"Why am I here in the first place" my voice was cracking and it was raspy.
Paige handed me a bottle of water I finished it withing seconds.

"They found rat poison in your system they managed to get it out in time before it effected you and the baby" I rubbed my belly sighing in relieve I rather be the one to go then our baby.

I nodded and laid back down going to a dark abyss of sleep.

Scared is understatement to how I felt when I saw tori body being rolled off on the white bed. When the doctor told me what happen I was confused to why we had poison on our food.

Tori didnt believe in killing animals so there's no way we could have any. After they brought tori back I fell asleep.

I sat there watching my beautiful treasure sleeping. I was so happy when I found out she wasn't going to die. She might be hungry when she wakes I'll run and get her some food.

I grabbed my keys and jacket and headed for the door. I walked back and gave her a quick kiss and rub her pale cheek.

That stupid Bitch and that baby should be dead any second. I laughed to myself skipping to the entrance of the hospital. I saw Paige walking toward her truck I frowned and walked to the front desk.

"May I please see Tori Gordon" I asked the woman at the front desk. She was a ugly sight to look at her chin hair made me want to puke.

"Relation to the patient" she smacked her gum giving me a blank look.

"I'm her sister" she nodded and gave me the room number. I walked to see her laying in bed asleep. I growled clenching my fist how could my plan not work. I giggled and sat on the edge of the bed rubbing her stomach.

I reached into my pocket pulling out my knife holding it up ready to stab her. I was suddenly flung off the bed and punched. I looked up and saw this bitch lily pinning me down.

I smacked her and pushed her off me I slid the knife down her face making a cut. I looked over and saw tori starting to wake up. I laughed and jumped out the window landing in a dumpster.

I will get you next time loves but for now I have to take care of lily. I smirked walking out into the night.

"I WANT THIS WHOLE PLACED SEARCHED I SAW THIS CRAZY ASS BITCH TRYING TO STAB MY PREGNANT BEST FRIEND YOUR ASSES SAW THE FOOTAGE OF HER WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU HAVE TO INVESTIGATE" lily was ranting off to the police about what happen. I woke up and saw lily on the floor and her cheek cut. Paige and Riley ran in with the police when I saw the footage of Ashley and lily I couldn't believe it.

I thought back to the last time we seen her our wedding day. She was so nice and it seem she really moved on boy was I wrong.

(Flashback)

We both smiled while walking to the limo ready to take us to our honeymoon destination.

"Babe wait I forgot my purse in the room" Paige pouted and I giggled kissing her nose running back to the room. I bumped into Ashley on accident and she smiled.

"I wanted to say congratulations on you guys wedding and I'm sorry for what I did I was wrong" she gave me pleading eyes while biting her lip.

I grabbed her hands in mine and kissed her cheek. She looked at me wide eyed and pulled me into a bone crushing hug. We both laughed and I waved her off before grabbing my purse returning to Paige.

"I knew that bitch was crazy this why you should have listened to me" lily growled pulling me into a hug. I hugged her back crying into her shoulder. Someone was out to kill me and our baby.

Riley had pulled me into the hallway and she gave me the look and passed me her phone.

"Call our uncle he may be a cheat and bastard but he loves us he can handle this mess" I bit my lip nodding dialing his number.

"Well if it isn't the wild child" I heard his tauting laughed threw the phone hearing take a smoke from his cigar.

"Shut up old fart I need a favor".....
