Hey everyone sorry I dont upload like everyday like I want to but give me some credit I always make it up to you lmao SOO since I have Late Start tomorrow at school I will upload a lot tonight and tomorrow morning. Chapter 10
When we got to school the bell was about to ring in like 10 minutes. We went to our class and almost everyone was there already, we took our seats in the back. Blake was quiet as usual so I took out my phone to text some of my old friends.
I then saw a text from someone whom I thought I would never see nor hear from again. I could feel my face turn into a scowl as I opened the text.
"I miss you, I cant believe you let without saying goodbye."
"What the hell do you want how did you get this number?" I replied.
This person I am texting was my best friend, boy friend, and at one point was everything in the world to me. His name is Cody Handler. I still remember that day back in Maine. It was the coldest time of year and my family owned land. We had a big white house surrounded by miles of grass, that was covered in snow, I smiled as I thought about the peaceful nights and quiet days. There was a house not far from us, about 5 miles down. Thats how I met Cody. He was your average all American boy. Blonde hair beautiful blue eyes and a football player during the summer. I fell for him the moment I met him. At first he was sweet, caring, considerate basically everything you could ask for. We were like the IT couple, at that time I had everything I ever wanted, until my Dad died. I started going through a depression of somewhat, but at school I tried to be as cheerful as possible, the only people that knew my pain were my Mom and Cody. It was about 2 weeks after my Dad died that I caught Cody with my best friend Carla. They even did it on my property. I was called into the hospital to get my mom who was going through the worst out of everyone she had a panic attack and ever since then has been a workaholic. I asked him if he could take Carla home and he said of coarse he could and said I should hurry to the hospital. I kissed him and thanked him and pulled down the long drive way. I forgot to grab my moms extra clothes and caught them making out on my couch. At first they didn't notice me and kept going Cody was on top of her and she was moaning his name. I was in complete shock I just watched unmoving its like I could see my soul moving from my body. It wasn't until they were changing positions until Carla noticed me she screamed and fumbled to get up. I was snapped back into reality when I felt his hand on my cheek.
"Baby, baby this is a misunderstanding" he cooed to me. Misunderstanding my ass I wanted to say but I just grabbed the bag out stuff for my mom off of the table and walked out of the door. I didn't need that I was through at that point. When my mom wanted to move here for her job I was more than happy to go without any regrets. I didn't even tell anyone I was leaving but I didn't, dont care.
I shook the memory from my head and I thought about Blake. What was I doing, how could I bounce back so fast. I want to love him. I thought I did, I do. He makes me happy, I want to love him and be with him but I'm scared.
I felt Blake rub my arm.
"Are you ok you look sick" he said.
I smiled kindly at him and then put on a cold face I decided I cant be with him yet, I hope he will wait for me.
"I'm ok. I just need to go home." he looked at me shocked and I felt the tears in my eyes.
"I'm sorry" I whispered before I walked out of the classroom ignoring the teachers glare.
I texted Vanessa and told her I wouldn't be able to take her home today. She replied that it was no problem.
"Hey why do you have to be like that, I am sorry baby I made a mistake" Shit. Cody again I cant take much more of him.
I turned off my phone and drove to my house. I packed a couple weeks worth of clothes and got a big brown envelope with all my saved money in it. I had about $900 saved up for a "just incase" moment. I went to the kitchen and wrote a note to my mom.
"Mommy, I'm going to stay with Uncle Madlin, dont be worried everything will be fine. I love you forever
--Sunny."
I put it on the kitchen table and left. My Uncle Madlin lives in Arizona. It was about a 8 hour drive.
I started the car took one last look and drove away. When I was about 3 hours away I stopped at a restaurant and called my uncle.
"Buna ziua unchiul Eu vin să te vizitez. Că este în regulă, nu?" Hello uncle I am coming to visit that is alright right? I said to him in Romanian. I usually speak it with my mom but I haven't seen her a lot lately.
(oh I used google translate lol so sorry if its wrong or something.)
"Oh, Soare este bine să aud de la tine. De grosier puteţi rămâne mătuşa ta şi te dor." Oh Sunny it's good to hear from you. Of coarse you can stay your aunt and I miss you. He said I really do miss him.
"Mi-e dor de asemenea, eu voi fi acolo în curând la revedere. Te iubesc." I told him that I was going to be there soon and I love him.
We said our goodbyes and after I finished eating I was back on the road.
