Chapter 1 Welcome Home

The Queen of Tennis Returns

The greenish black-haired girl sighs in relief that she finally made it to her home country, Japan. Rhea was glad that the flight is not delayed and noted herself to email her two best friends in US.

"I'm finally here." She muttered herself and stretching her body. Rhea was already bored sitting on the plane for 7 hours and doing nothing especially she's taking the First Class.

Rhea easily missed her bickering to Lydia and Rosemary's baking. Oh, how she wanted to go dragged them against their own will but decided not to do it since they would not be happy for what she did.

"I should call Ryuzaki-sensei.." Rhea grabbed her phone. "To pick me up and mom too before someone finds out that I'm here." She said happily and can't wait to see their priceless expression.

Ryūzaki Sumire is the coach of Seigaku Tennis club and she met her before when she was a kid back then. Ryūzaki-sensei, is treating Rhea as her own daughter figure. She's also the one who trained Nanjirō back then when her father was Junior High Student.

"Moshi moshi?" Rhea could hear the voice of Ryūzaki-sensei.

"Long time no talk, sensei." She chuckled and smiled.

"Oya.. Rhea?" She could tell that Ryūzaki-sensei was surprised to called her. "Why the sudden call?"

"Mou, sensei you didn't miss me that much?" Rhea pout and sulk like a child.

"Ha ha you never changed. Of course I missed you, how are you?"

"Hmm.. I'm fine as always and..." A smirked appeared on her face.

"And?"

"Can you pick me up in the Airport? I just arrived few minutes ago.." Rhea quickly pull away her phone knowing what Ryūzaki-sensei reaction might be.

"What!? Why didn't you tell me earlier!?" She screamed in surprised ignoring the looked from the other people.

"Sorry." She laugh nervously.

"I'm coming to get you... By the way, did you call your mom already?" She asked curiously and decided to pick her up.

"Right after I talk to you sensei."

"You never change." She sighs heavily and shaking her disbelief at the girl.

"I didn't changed at all. I'll see you later." Hanging up the call and biting her lips slightly. "Hmm... I'll just surprise my mom instead of calling her that I'm back." Rhea giggled and she's looking forward to see their faces.

Rhea was surprised that Ryūzaki-sensei came here in 15 minutes early. She blinked in surprised and smiled happily to her.

"Ara.. Sensei you came faster than I thought." She spoke and giggled.

"I'm excited to see my favorite student daughter came back from U.S." Ryūzaki-sensei helping Rhea to grabbing her things.

"You never change as well, sensei."

"Hmph.. Says the person who didn't changed as well."

Ryūzaki-sensei is taking Rhea to her home while they are having conversation in the car.

"Did you tell your mom already?" Ryūzaki-sensei asked curiously.

"Nope, I decided to surprise her as well." She grinned cheekily.
