I turned around and was greeted by his blue eyes, correction his ocean blue eyes and that dazzling smile.
"Hey, is this seat taken?"
I try and say no but all that comes out is "I uhm..."
"Guess not. I'm Josh. And you are?"
"I uhm..My name is uhm"
"Her name is Hilary and I'm Miley. Nice to meet you."
Thank God for best friends. She looks at me and does kissy faces. Mouths the words you like him. And suddenly I forget why I talk to her.
"Nice to meet you guys too."
"So, Josh what made you wanna sit here."
"Well I seen Hilary right here checking me out. So I'd thought I'd come talk to her."
I turned bright red. He did See me. What do I do? Do I sit there and look stupid. Or do I try and form a sentence. I went with the second option.
"Sorry. You looked familiar. I was trying to figure out where I knew you from."
"Oh. Do you?"
"What?"
"Do you know me from somewhere?"
"I don't know yet."
"I see my best friend. I'm going to go get him and we are going to sit together. Cool?"
"Yeah."
He gets up and meets up with his friend while I sit there feeling stupid. Miley hits me and I scream.
"What the fuck?"
"Sorry I thought hitting you would make you stop acting like an idiot!"
"My bad! I just got so nervous when I seen him!"
"I know he's hot but damn chill out!!"
"Shut up. He's coming back."
"Hilary and Miley this is my best friend Jesse."
"Hey."
"Hey," We both said smiling.
All of the sudden I see Miley start to blush. Omigosh does she like Jesse? I can't wait to tease her about this one!
"So which one has a crush on my man Josh?"
"Oh Hilary doesn't have a crush. She said she thought I looked familiar."
"You don't actually believe that shit do you?"
"No. But she won't tell me the real reason so.."
"She thought you we're hot," Miley says while I give her a look.
"Sorry, he's gonna find out eventually."
"Oh really, you think I'm hot?"
"Maybe."
"Well I maybe think you are hot too."
While I blush, Josh couldn't help but laugh and touch my cheek which made me giggle.
"You are so cute when you get all shy and shit."
"Thanks."
