Bellarke: A Modern Love Story// AU

First Date

4 Months Later

Clarke's Pov: 

 So me and Bellamy have been together for about 7 months and I couldn't be even more happier, it was now summer break I had no more school cause I graduated and so did all my friends I was happy. I was currently snuggled up to Bell cause since it was summer we didn't really have to do much unless we planned something with the others but today was just a day I wanted to spend it alone with Bellamy and no one else no offense to my friends an all but I loved him, I felt him stir but I stayed still pretending to sleep but he never believes me then I felt him move towards my ear "Princess I know your not sleeping" this caused me to giggle then I opened my eyes an smiled at him then sat up and got out of bed and looked at the time an it was after 1, so I decided to get up an take a shower then I was thinking what we should do today cause I may only want to be with Bell but we should do something today. 

 So once my shower was done I wrapped a towel around my body and walked out an noticed the room was empty knowing Bellamy must have gone downstairs to make breakfast, so I quickly put on some shorts and one of his shirts cause why not and plus we might do something later but this outfit was comfy. I headed downstairs and it smelled great an I walked into the kitchen and I wrapped my arms around his waist smiling, we then ate our food and he then realized I was wearing his shirt and chuckled at me. 

Bellamy's Pov: 

 So after Clarke got into the shower I decided I should head downstairs to make some breakfast and I was thinking what we should do today I was thinking I should take Clarke on a date tonight but I have to think of how to plan it out,I start to think of an idea that would be perfect but it was going to be later on tonight because it would be better that way. Then after we ate I told Clarke I had to run some errands then I left the house and went to the store then I went to the ring store and bought an amazing ring.

 So I hid the small box and headed home with the bags with snacks, I walked inside and smiled at Clarke hoping this will go alright. 

Later that night

Clarke's Pov: 

  Bellamy told me to change and wear something nice and I was confused at first but he didn't say a word and I didn't ask but I went upstairs into his room and I had some of my things here cause I am mainly here than at my own house. I decided to take another shower cause it felt needed cause I was told to look nice so I thought a shower would have been needed, so after my shower I got my outfit ready and I put it on then I worked on my hair and makeup.

Bellamy's Pov: 

 I waited for Clarke to come downstairs then I heard footsteps coming down the steps and I looked up at Clarke and smiled "Babe you look gorgeous" that caused her to blush then she walked over to me smiling "Thank you Bell" I then grabbed her hand and led her out to the car smiling hoping this night goes well. 

 I drove us to the restaurant and she gasped of course and tried to explain how that I didn't have to do this but I kept arguing back saying I did because I loved her so much, so once we left the restaurant I took her to the beach and she took off her shoes cause it was hard for her so we walked for a bit then I pulled some fireworks out of my pocket and she looked really confused I just held a hand up telling her to wait and she will see what will happen, then I set them all up and set them off and waited for everything to show up then I looked at Clarke. 

Then I got down holding out the ring then she looked at me and I spoke "Clarke your the love of my life and I want to spend my life with you forever, so as the fireworks explain will you marry me Clarke Griffin?" then she jumped at me and kissed me and whispered "Yes" I slid the ring on her finger and watched the fireworks die down and we walked back and headed home and we were both smiling.
