*Dead Sense*
Touch, sight, soundness.
We take it for granted.
Movement, speech, thought.
They are never thought of twice.
It is like a forbidden freedom.
Given the right to
Never know life itself.

In a world a world of unknown,
Never knowing what's real.
Absent from love and all security.
Your senses are dead.
No communication between
And the world.
Segregated from the truth.

The feeling of helplessness
And insecurity.
Fearful of all the unknown.
The body is cold and tense.
Your soul and spirit reach for life.
The mind is blank.

Don't take yourself for granted.
You were given a sound mind
And body for a reason.
Those who are
Paralyzed and disabled,
Request that you be grateful.
