Part II.
“Maya, my name is Maya,” I force a smile, politely telling it a second time. The teacher, Mr. Tunesse, gives me an apologising glance, “Ah, right, excuse me, Miss.”
“It's fine,” once again, I smile at him as the class chuckles behind me and Mr. Tunesse turns to the blackboard, seeming to slip into his own thoughts. I turn down the smile and look down onto my pad. A shiver runs down my spine for no real reason and I stroke over my bare arm to rub at the goosebumps.
“Can anyone tell us what we did last lesson?” the teacher asks into the class room and a girl two seats next to me raises her hand. “Courtney, yes, please.”
The girl's about to say something when a boy opens the door and walks in like it's nothing.
“Mr. Tomlinson,” Mr. Tenesse gives him a stern look, “Late, once again.” “Yeah,” the boy smirks, cocking an eye-brow as he stops right in front of my desk. “I'm sorry, babe, but that's my seat you're sitting on with that gorgeous bum of yours,” he winks at me and I gasp, “Excuse me?”
“Louis Tomlinson! Take a seat at the back of the class! One more comment and I'm going to see you at detention,” Mr. Tenesse warns him and points a finger at some random seat. Louis rolls his eyes, grimacing and walking away. I shake my head at his behaviour. Cocky.
