I woke up to my alarm clock going off. Most of the time this would bother me but today was the last day of school so I was extremely happy. Summer was the only thing I looked forward to all year. It was also the end of my freshman year in high school which was probably the biggest relief I have ever felt.
"Alyssa, are you up?" My little speaker thing in my room went off.
I sat up in my bed and pressed the button to talk back.
"Yes mom." I responded. I stood up and walked over to my closet. It was way to big for me. I wasn't one of those girls who had to have the top fashions. the whole thing was just filled up with things I never used. I threw on a pair of jean shorts and an old t shirt from of my figure skating competitions. Then I walked into my bathroom and put my hair up in to a ponytail and put on little makeup. Then I ran downstairs.
"Hey Lyssa." My sister was by the door about to leave.
"Hey Amber. Can you give me a ride?"
"Sure. Hurry up!" I ran an got my flip flops on a ran out the door and got in my sisters car.
