Evergreen forests and fields of wildflowers decorated the town of Watercress. Residing in Oregon, Watercress consisted of people, houses, mountains, rivers, lakes, waterfalls, flowers and trees. Nature dominated this town yet the people had a big impact on its image.
The town was previously known for it's riveting nature hikes and beautiful landscapes, however, in recent times it has become a town that hid a criminal and was oblivious to its citizens.
It was a symbol for something much darker, something that could have been.
Juniper Wilde is an example, a could have been, a would have been and a should have been. In fact, the whole Wilde family is.
Along with them, Adam Foster can fall into those categories for multiple reasons. He thinks to himself what he could of done, what he would of done, and what he should of done. It seems as though nobody asks themselves these questions before it's too late.
And that's exactly what it was- too late. Too late for her, too late for him, too late for everyone in the town of Watercress, too late for the town itself.
As they look back, they realize it was right in front of their eyes, sitting there mocking them. Everyone saw the signs, everyone wondered what was going on but no one put the pieces together. Whether it's because they turned a blind eye or truly had no idea, they now faced the consequences of what has happened.
That was the worst memory of all.
