Mr Johnson’s pov
Another year…., same speech…... CHANGE IS BAD. It is never nice, time to see this smart scholars that will end up bringing honour to my school.
“Welcome students to gurukul, the only single sex university ranked 3rd for prestigious schools, this is a school of rules, without rules there is no order and order is this most important thing. There will be no fraternising with the girl’s school across the road, no student can leave this school on a week day except with permission from a teacher, and the gates open from 9:00am to 6:00pm on Saturday and Sunday”
I started to here murmuring among the students “keep quiet I am talking, for over 35 years this school has been steady not because of the teachers or students but because of rules so if any one of you breaks the rules which has been given to you…, you shall be expelled without a trial. After I leave you boys, you can leave to buy whatever you need”
‘I know I am harsh but I can’t just let what happened last time happen again….’
(After dismissal)
Hunter’s pov
Oh my God! I am starting to hate my dad, this place is worse than military school. What kind of rules are this.
“Ben are you seeing what I am seeing because I think I am dreaming and I need to wake up now.”
Ben said “you’re not dreaming, this rules are crazy, I thought university was an escape from high school not a short cut to the military but I don’t blame the dean though after what I heard happened to his daughter”
With a confused look I asked “what”
chase started “wait u didn’t know, well there’s a rumour that said that gurukul used to be filled with so much love and joy and it was less strict ,but there was a boy who broke the most important rule…he fell in love with the dean’s daughter. After a while he was caught and of course he was expelled before finding out that the love of his life was pregnant, when the girl found out the boy was expelled she got depressed and ended up taking her own life by jumping off the balcony. After that the dean’s already cold heart was turned to stone sorry more like concrete”
Shocked I started to understand and also I was starting to realise the length of this rules, there’s practically no freedom.
I just smiled and said “guys lets enjoy 3 hours of freedom before we get imprisoned, meet you guys later I need to get some food” as I left the boys I was still thinking about those rules when I bumped into someone and saw it was a lady whose food stuffs I fell. I looked up and saw she didn’t look far from my age, after I help her pick her stuff, we started talking. I found out her name was Ella and she went to garula the female school of gurukul. I lost track of time talking to this girl. She had special written all over her. I checked the time and it was 6:30pm, I had to end the conversation but I just knew I had to see her again…somehow.
Ben’s pov
After hunter left, chase left to “get some air” he says. Leaving me roaming aimlessly on the way I wondered into the forest stopping when I heard the most beautiful voice. Running I reached where the voice was coming from. It was like seeing an angel, cheesy but it is the truth.
“Hey” she ran “pls stop” she kept running, of course I chased her, finally I caught her “pls stop panicking, I just want to talk, my name is ben, what’s your name” after a while she replied and said her name was Victoria. I was about to continue this conversation when I heard a young man calling her name, I managed to listen to their conversation and I found out a very shocking information….Victoria was married but her husband was in the army, according to the man he said something like,
“Even though we haven’t heard from jack after the betrayal of the army we cannot be sure he is dead until I see the body but for now I don’t want you fraternising with boys or single girls” well I’m guessing jack is the husband. Honestly I don’t know whether to feel sad or happy that the husband is missing. Well I guess I am not evil because she’s 18 and she’s hot
Shit I’m late
Chase’s pov
I really needed to get a plan to leave that school because I can tell it’s going to be depressing, no parties, no girls, they practically want me to be celibate, which can never happen. I need to be alone and think. Wait what’s that sound….wow that dance class looks so cool. I felt like dancing so I stayed after that this girl walked up to me and introduced herself as Mandy, we got talking and u know how it goes, that girl was hot but different. We decided to meet later after I realised it was evening and of course I won’t want to get expelled
