C O N N O R ' S P . O . V

[one month later]

"So I heard that there was this DJ coming down for the weekend. Wanna go?" Aria asked while stroking my hair.

"I don't see why not." I smiled back at her.

She took hold of my arm and hugged it tightly as she leaned her head against my chest. Her orange strands of hair messily spread about but it made her look so angelic. I softly caressed her face, pushing the strands aside.

"I really like you." She said after a while.

"What?" I asked, wondering if I had heard her wrong.

"I really like you Connor Kingsley." she turned and faced me.

"I really like you too Aria." I smiled.

I lay in silence wondering what we were.

Yes, we did hang out all the time, but she still wasn't officially mine...

My thoughts were disturbed as my phone started going off. I reached over to see that Bryan was calling me.

"Ugh do you have to take it?" She asked sadly.

I thought for a second and dismissed the call.

"Nah, later." I nodded and with that, we continued cuddling till I had to leave.

"Trousers or joggers?" I asked while walking out of the bathroom with my towel wrapped around my waist.

I was expecting Bryan to reply but instead heard the soft, entrancing voice of Natalie's.

"Oh uhm. Sorry." She said nervously as she looked up her phone to see my half naked body.

I took a step back in surprise and raised my eyes brows in thought. "Did um Bryan invite....when did you?" I tried to hold back my tongue, but my words were running haywire.

"Sorry I was just waiting for Bryan." She said while getting off the bed, daring to turn and look around at me.

"No no. It's fine. I can go." I tried calling her back but she had already made her way to the door. Just before she left though, she poked her head back into the room, looked at me for a quick second and said, "maybe joggers." And with that, she left.

I smiled. Taking her advice, I hopped into some black joggers and wore a plain white t shirt on top. I walked over to the mirror, messily ruffling my hair, sprayed some deodorant and wore my sneakers before heading out the door.

At the bottom of the stairs, I met Nat and Bryan who were sitting on the steps talking.

"Aye aye aye! Look who's here!" Bryan said teasingly.

Nat turned her head around and smiled proudly. "Took my advice huh?"

"Always." I grinned.

"I pray for Aria." Bryan commented.

I rolled my eyes at him and walked out the house to the white convertible which awaited me at the front porch.
