Finally, it's the day!

Well, I guess I sound too excited, much more than I actually feel right now.

I had waited for this day since childhood, the day I would finally get to wear a pretty white dress and walk the aisle with my prince charming.

Yes, it's my wedding day.

I had been planning it for almost two months now along with Justin, my fiance.

But for some reason, it just felt wrong today. I couldn't get any sleep for the past week because of all the work so I guess it's partly because of that too.

Shush girl, don't worry. This is your day. Own it babe. You have the best fiance anyone could ever ask for. I mean - he's sweet, loves you and is extremely understanding. What more do you want? I kept telling myself.

Justin Parker, my fiance, is a lawyer. We met each other on a plane to D.C. He was extremely goofy and annoying throughout the plane ride and though I was extremely annoyed at that time, it was cute.

We dated for two years after that and all was well.

He proposed to me three months ago during our vacation to L.A. and it's been just perfect since then.

I was ecstatic and we started planning the wedding as soon as possible. My father was extremely excited about the wedding and he got a bit too excited and told his secretary and somehow it reached the paparazzi.

Why does the paparazzi care you ask?

Well, let's just say that my father, John Raymond, is a celebrity in Hollywood hence why the media is too interested in his life.

Anyway, as soon as he'd realized his mistake, he quickly claimed it to be a rumour so as to throw off the media but as they weren't completely convinced with his explanation, he shifted us out of New York for a while, hence the delay in the wedding.

The fact that the paparazzi had never actually managed to click my picture was a big bonus.

Ever since I was a kid, my father was extremely cautious to keep me away from their prying eyes and I even wore a wig whenever I went outside and had sunglasses on all the time for a large part of my childhood.

Even at work, nobody actually knew that I was the daughter of John Raymond, the famous Hollywood star and considering my lifestyle they probably wouldn't believe it either.

I also lived in a secluded region of the city along with my paternal grandparents and my father visited once a month, sometimes maybe twice or thrice but never more because of his busy lifestyle.

Every summer though he made made it a point to spend atleast two weeks with me. I loved spending time with him.

So yeah, I guess that's pretty much me.

All my childhood memories flashed before me the entire time my best friend did my makeup while I was just sitting with my eyes closed.

Elaine, my makeup artist a.k.a my best friend had a rule, you couldn't see yourself in the mirror until she was completely done with you.

Not that I was complaining.

Elaine Whittaker has been my best friend since kindergarten.

We were neighbors too along with our other crazy best friend, Alex and of course Ben, Elaine's twin brother.

Alex shifted to D.C. a few years ago to take care of his father's multi-million dollar business and he was finally coming to meet us after over four years now so yes, I'm extremely excited to meet him.
