Mates?

Hey guys! I know I haven't written in forever and I'm sorry!! Wattpad isn't working on my computer so I guess I will have to start the book on here. :( I hope you guys like this one!! I wanted to make it a little different than normal werewolf book! Hopefully my readers are still out there! I have been working on my writing lately so hopefully it turns out for the better!

I look over at my mate, who was laying at my side. A smile envelopes my face, we had been together a few months and we couldn't be any happier.

We had met during high school, me being a junior and him a senior. I was new to the school and the moment my eyes found him I knew he was the one, and he did to. He was the Alpha of the strongest pack in the country, the Wild forest pack.

I look over at him and am met by his crystal blue eyes. Which light up when he sees me and he throws an arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him.

I giggle and wrap my arms around his neck, laying my head on his chest, letting a sigh of content escape.

"Good Morning beautiful," Xavier whispers, giving me a quick peck on the lips.

I giggle quietly and groan, knowing I would have to get up for school soon. Xavier chuckles understanding exactly what I meant.

"Only one more year and your done babe," He comments reassuringly, rubbing circles on my back absentmindedly.

I groan. "I know, it just won't be the same without you there with me," I whine.

He nods and before I know it I am being lifted off the bed and pulled into his arms. I squeal and try to wriggle out of his grasp, without success.

He tightens his grip and lays his head in the crook of my neck, breathing in my scent. He still had
not marked me, since he knew we both were not ready.

He sets me down and kisses my cheek before heading downstairs, to make breakfast I assume, he normally did.

I get dressed quickly, throwing on a pair of skinny jeans, a black t-shirt and black flats, straightening my hair and applying natural makeup.

I make my way downstairs, to see Xavier cooking eggs and bacon. I come up behind him and wrap my arms around his chest, laying my head on his back.

"Smells good, wanna give me a ride to school?" I asked sweetly, batting my eyelashes.

He chuckles. "Hmm.. I don't know, you might have to find someone else, I'm busy."

I fake hurt, and start walking towards the door, grabbing me a plate to go.

"I think I can call up Jake and see if he is open," I say knowing that would make his jealous.

A growl is sounded behind me, I feel him grab my arm and spin me around to face him, his eyes are pitch black and he pulls me to his chest.

I giggle and slap his chest. "I was just joking your the only one for me!" I say sweetly giving him a peck on the lips before grabbing his keys and making my way out the door and to his car.

As I am getting in I see my best friend Julia sprinting towards me.

"MELISSA!" She squeals making her way in front of me, and pointing to her neck frantically. My eyes land on a mark on her neck.

"HE MARKED YOU!?" I screech jumping up and down with her, that was when my brother walked out behind her looking happy as well.

I turn to him growling. "How dare you not tell me." I giggle and slap him playfully, climbing into the car where Xavier waited for me.

I wave for Julia and Alex to hop in, they do and they greet Xavier before going into a frenzy of googly eyes with each other.

I groan internally and exchange glances with Xavier, who just chuckles. When we get to school, I give Xavier a quick kiss and a wave, and head to my locker.

Ignoring all the guys calling out to me, now that Xavier was out of school I continued through the rest of my day, with nothing interesting going on.

When the bell finally rang, I sprinted out the doors hoping to see Xavier waiting for me. Sadly he wasn't there so I checked my phone, there was a text from him saying he couldn't make it because of alpha business.

I groaned and searched the parking lot, spotting Luke, one of the players at our school who was part of our pack.

"Luke!" I yelled, getting his attention, earning myself him checking me out. I groaned and asked him for a ride, what other choice did I have? My wolf was not in the mood for a run.

He agreed and I hopped in, at first it was silent, until he decided to rest his hand on my leg, trying to act normal. I smacked his hand away growling at him.

"Hands off!" I snarl, glaring at him.

"Get out," He says simply, pulling the car over. I glare at him before rolling my eyes and hopping out, flicking him off as he drove away.

I pulled out my phone calling Xavier. On about the second ring he answered.

"Hello?" He answered, his voice gruff.

"Are you still busy?" I asked him, knowing I was still pretty far from the house.

"Yes, what's up?" He suddenly sounds worried, which was normal for him, being the protective mate he is.

"Well, I'm kind of in need of a ride, my ride kind of ditched me not even half way from the house." I say, hoping he wouldn't get in trouble if he left.

I hear a brief muffling on the other line, before he speaks again.

"I'm on my way. Where are you?" He asks.

I tell him where I am and quickly sit at the side waiting for him. About 10 minutes later, his car pulls up and he hops out of the car strutting over to me.

His eyes are black, and his hair is every which way showing he had been worried. He begins to pace in front of me, his body beginning to shake.

"Who left you here" He snarls, ready to kill anyone who had left me here.

I get up and place my hand on his chest, instantly calming him down, I wrap my arms around his torso and he wraps his arm around me to.

"I love you." I whisper, knowing it would calm him

"I love you to." He whispers, his eyes returning to their stunning blue color. I smile and reach up connecting our lips in a quick kiss.

I'm going to end this chapter here. I was on a roll and couldn't stop writing lol. Let me know what y'all think!! I REALLY need to know! It will depend on if I continue this book!! 1 comment and I will continue! This will be the only time that I ask for a certain number! Love you guys!!
