Aarush stood at the gates of his new school, praying that he wouldn't do anything embarrassing which would lead to his death. He didn't want to do anything weird on the first day of school. Just keep his head down and get the day over with.
"Here we go..."
He closes his eyes and steps into the school premises. Closing his eyes was not a good idea because...
"OUCH!!! Watch it!", she said glaring at me. Now would be a pretty good time for a terrorist attack, he thought to himself. But the terrorist seemed to be busy somewhere else because no one was getting attacked.
"Watch where you're going!"
"Your leg isn't amputated, so there is no need to over-react", he snapped. Then he looked at her. She was pretty.
"Well... I wouldn't over-react if you had the courtesy to apologize."
"Well...", I stare at her. "Yeah... I am sorry. I am just a bit lost and wasn't paying attention to where I was going"
Her death glare softened or at least he thought it did until she smirked and said, "You are new..." as if she was observing an experiment. She turned around, walked away and shouted, "Good Luck finding your way to your class dumbass".
Aarush watched her receding figure in disbelief. That was not very nice, he thought.
He kept walking aimlessly. The school office was empty so no help there.
"Hey, are you lost?", a girl asks me. He must have been looking like a lost puppy.
"Yup, could you help me find class 11-A?"
"I am going over there too! Come on"
He follows her trying to memorize the path. By the time they reach the fifth floor she was all out of breath.
When they reach the classroom, Aarush sees the devil 'HERSELF' sitting on top of a bench talking to some guy, who was drooling all over her, with her perfect legs crossed and her hands under her chin. Aarush's eyes involuntarily go to the legs but he immediately brought them back to her face.
She tilts her head with a bemused look and a small trace of smile escapes her lips. She noticed him looking her legs and was not shy about it as if she knew they were perfect. Aarush made a face at her thinking that she won't do it back since she might find it childish but she did it too flaring her nose and sticking out her tongue at me.
"You've met her?", the girl who helped him find his way to the classroom asked.
"Yeah.. I stepped on her foot", he stated
"That wouldn't have been good. She is sort of like the bad girl of the school. Teachers have mixed feelings about her, she is the school topper but manages to get herself in trouble and probably is on a first name basis with the principal because she gets called to her office so many times. Boys go CRAZY over her..... I don't see why", she said, "And she hates new students but finally gets around and pretends to be very nice to people.... except the ones who try to be smart. Oh, by the way, I'm Khushi"
"I'm Aarush. What's the she-devil's name"
"Oh, it's Kiara"
