I need to say 2 things.

First of all, sorry. It took so long for me to update because I have a block... A pretty good one. After all, it is the first time I try to write such a long story.

And second and most important. NSFW. LEMON. I USE CAPS BECAUSE I KNOW YOU'LL SEE IT.

Enjoy~

Heaven. Your sobs muffled by his clothes break the peace forged in the long narrow corridor of snow-white walls. The smell of wet soil and laurel floods your senses, and you clench your fists harder, trying to get him closer to you. His arm draws you even closer to him, in a such a way that not even a particle of oxygen fits between your bodies. Your body is leaning forward; His, leaning against the bare wall. You raise your hand and caress his soft and silky red-violet hair. Your heaven. He doesn't move, letting you freedom to do whatever you want to. Time flows more slowly, his essence capturing all your attention. You can't think of anything or anyone else. There's only him. You still cry, but the motive behind your tears is now a diffuse silhouette.

A new sound embellishes the air of the hallway. His mouth is next to your ear, his breathing causing you sweet, delightful shivers. His deep voice resonates in every corner of your mind, while he whispers you a song full of meaning, a song you've already heard him hum before.

Deus dormit

Et liberi ignem faciunt

Numquam extinguunt

Ne expergisci possit

Omnia dividit

Tragoedia coram

Amandum quae

Et nocte perpetua

In desperatione

Auroram videre potest

Mane tempus expergiscendi.

His voice gently fades away. Once again, silence reigns over the place, your sobs lowering in intensity and your tears disappearing

"Do not cry any more, my dear." He tells you in a low voice, as if afraid to break the silence that has formed, while caressing your (h/c) hair.

You raise your eyes and fix your gaze on his beautiful face. You meet his eyes and, for a second, you think you see the barriers between you both nonexistent; You think you see how he drops all his defenses. You do know him. You know this man. You don't exactly know since when, but you feel a bond pulling you towards him, attracting you like a magnet. However, Ardyn moves you away from him and breaks eye contact. You get out of your reverie and clear your throat nervously.

"Thanks for helping me." You say softly, your gaze fixed to the ground.

"I do not do things without a reward. Let's get out of here first, then we will talk." He answers, turning around and starting to walk away from you.

His steps are quicker than yours. Your legs, which are still trembling, aren't able to reach him.

"Ardyn, wait!" You shout, trying to speed up so you wouldn't lose him.

"I believed you faster, my dear." He stops for a moment to turn and look at you, with a malicious grin decorating his features.

"And I thought you were more considerate... I could turn around and go back to where I come from, instead of going with you." You answer back with the same smile.
