Care to dance?

(Harry's POV)
I was going to pick up Mariah for the date. I was practicing what I would say.."hey babe looking swell" I looking in the mirror I looked at myself like I was crazy..'you can't use that u fool' I told myself 'just go with the flow' I told myself again. Three minutes later I was at Mariah's house. It was a nice house and I always thought that..I have been to Simons house before for the judging. But what sticks in my mind is that Simon never told us he had a daughter...and look where I am now siting in her drive about to go get her for our date. I sighed to myself and hopped out of the car and headed to the house.

(Mariah's POV)
I looked at myself one last time in the mirror. I was wearing a tight fitting black dress and black heels, with my hair curled and pulled to the side with a bobby pin. For make up I was wearing a tiny bit of foundation and pink blush, a layer of mascara and sparkly gray eyeshadow... I was beautiful!!

I looked at the clock and it read: 6:45
I grabbed my purse and headed down stairs. I walked into the living room to see my dad glued to the screen..like always he was watching the walking dead. "Hey Mar-wow!" He looked at me from head to toe, I smirked "where are you going?" He asked...I had to think of something quick! I can't tell him 'oh me and Harry are going on a date' he will go crazy!! "Oh m-me and s-some of-f my friends -- are going out to a party" It was my quickest lie ever. I griped on the bottom of my dress hoping he will by it. "Oh ok" he said 'phew' I said to myself, and grabbed the door nob "have fun!" He called out to me "ok bye!" I yelled back. Then I saw Harry hoping out of the car.

He liked so handsome! He was wearing a white plane T-shirt with a dark blue blazer it was so dark that it looked black, he wore skinny jeans and white snikers, hair was the same...Curly...but he still looked fine! "Hey" a raspy voice said "hey" I said quietly "you look gorgeous" he said with his strong accent. I looked down and blushed and look back at those green gorgeous eyes! "You don't look so bad yourself" I said with a smile he softly chuckled. "Ready to go ma'am?" He said putting his hand in front of me. "Yes sir" I said and grabbed his hand and walked to the car.

The car ride was silent all you could hear was the lyrics on the radio. It wasn't silent because it was awkward it was because we wanted to save stuff to talk about at dinner.

(5 minutes later)

We walked up to the counter. "Hello I called and made a order earlier" Harry said the the lady working at the front desk. "Oh yes are u Styles party at 8?" She asked with a sweet smile "that's us" he said she nodded and said "follow me" and we followed her to our table.

Once we got to our table we sat down. "Do u want to order your drinks now or later?" She asked. I looked at Harry "now or later?" I said with a little smile "umm do you know what you want?" He asked I nodded "then now" he said with a smile. "Ok" I said. "I'll have Pepsi" I said putting my hands in my lap. "Ok an for u sir?" She said writing down my order and pouting to Harry with her pencil. "Make that two Pepsis" he said "ok I'll be right back with those" she said and walk away.

"So how's it going with the music?" I asked "good we are working on our album" he said "cool" I said. "How is it going with your dancing?" He asked full of concern I smiled at the thought of me going to the school I want to go to. "It's doing really well, I don't have a lot of friends in there but I focus on the work mostly anyways so it doesn't matter" I said honestly, I don't have much friends other than this girl named Chloe. "oh that's surprising!" He said I giggled.

The waitress came back with our drinks. We ordered what we wanted and she walked away. I herd music playing and I turned in my seat to see where it's coming from...when I turned I saw a huge dance floor and a stage. My eyes widened. I turned to look back at Harry..he wasn't there. I looked around the restaurant and I saw him waving at me with his cheeky smile on the dance floor. I rolled my eyes playfully and walked up to him. The song that was on was Neon lights by Demi Lovato. We danced and danced and then...

(Harry's POV)
Before we came here I told them to play Mariah's favorite song!! And how do I know her favorite song?? Well...

(Flashback)
So Mariah and I were texting each other and then we got on too the topic of songs and I asked her what her favorite song was:

Harry (me):
Soo...what's ur favorite song?? :)xx

Mariah ;):
Ummm...say something by a great big world ft. Christina Aguilera :Dxx

Harry (me):
Omg I love that song!!! :Pxx

Mariah ;):
Lol TWINS!!! 👯Xx

Harry (me):
Omg....Mariah? Xx

Mariah ;):
😏 you know you love me!! ;)xx

Harry (me):
😂😂x

And that's how I got her favorite song!

(End of flashback)

(Harry's POV)
I smiled like a crazy person and she smiled from ear to ear.
"Care too dance" I said reaching out for her hand and she gladly took it with a tight grip "Yes I would styles" she said and I twirled her with her hair flowing like it was in the wind...so beautiful.

Near the end of the song I wanted to make this a night to remember, so I dipped her. I put my hand on her back and pulled her down...then we inched closer. My heart beating out of my chest . Closer. I'm in love with this girl so much. Closer. I wonder if she loves me back. Closer. And--

We were one inch apart we could feel each others breath and then we heard some one shout.

"Table number 36!"

I rolled my eyes. They just freakin ruined our moment!!!

I saw Mariah roll her eyes to in frustration too. Maybe she does like me.

We walked to our table like nothing happened.

(Mariah's POV)
We almost kissed!!!!
I almost kissed Harry freaking Styles!!!!
Oh my gosh!!!!!
But they ruined it!
*sigh*
I am so mad but yet happy cause I think he likes me.

We were soon done with dinner and the restaurant was about to close so we decided to head on home.

We hopped in the car with nothing to say. But then Harry spoke some words that I hope he wouldn't ask...

Hey!! I know I feel bad for leaving it a cliffhanger!!! But I will soon update!!! I just felt so sorry for not updating!!!!
