Chapter 16

3rd person

Jungkook ran to the presents, falling on his knees and unwrapping them with wide eyes and squeals. When he saw the giant cookie he laughed.

"What is it?" Taehyung asked. 

"A cookie... IT'S ME!" Jungkook grinned looking up and Taehyung who laughed, sitting onto the floor and crossing his legs. Jungkook picked up another present which Taehyung took from him. Jungkook pouted.

"Open this one last." He said putting it beside him. Jungkook carried on unwrapping the presents, feeling one which had no box. He opened it and saw cookies on a shirt... Not a shirt... A jacket!

"Cookie Monster!" Jungkook squealed, looking and hugging his new jacket before putting it on carefully. Taehyung smiled for a second but realised he had to keep serious. Jungkook opened another and realised it was a necklace. Two! He picked the heart and gave the key to Taehyung who he thought would smile... He didn't and Jungkook started to get concerned.

Jungkook opened the last present and smiled so wide and hugged Taehyung. He didn't hug the boy back. 

"Taekook..." Jungkook smiled. "It's our names." he smiled again but looked up at Taehyung again frowning because he was as well. "T-tae? What's wrong. Do you want a hold of Taekook!" Jungkook smiled holing the bear out but Taehyung pushed the bear back towards Jungkook, getting up and going into the kitchen in a space Jungkook could see him. 

Taehyung put his hands behind his head walking back and forward. He knew Jungkook could see him and was slowly standing up and moving towards him.

Jungkook walked towards Taehyung who softly grabbed his hands and pulled him onto the sofa. Jungkook looked concerned and a little sad. Taehyung's phone beeped and his took this as a go signal and spoke:

"I-i don't...i don't l-"

"You don't like me anymore..." Jungkook whispered looking down and starting to cry.

Taehyung shook his head, feeling sad for the boy.

"I'm sorry." He said getting up and walking out of the house.
