Carl had a feeling something good was going to happen today, sitting with his family at dinner table eating his bland ordinary porridge, he felt maybe he has something good going for himself when he is finally recommended for a job interview.
"Eat up big day today" said his mother anxiously "leave me alone I've got this" he snapped back. His mother was in fact talking about a job interview, he hadn't applied for one since he was fired from his last job for suspicion of shop lifting.
"You can't have the incident happening again" she added, Carl stood up and stormed up to his room, slammed his door and opened his computer.
He had 3 unopened messages: 1: Kerris: Meet me outside the shop this weekend need to talk to you (this is Carl's friend who invited carl to a party)
2: Ollie: You come to my shop again and I'll get you arrested, I know a guy (this is the shop owner who accused carl)
3: Elliot: My son is a cop he can get you done for what you did! (He is friends with the shop keeper)
Carl decides to ignore Ollie and Elliot and reply to Kerris he types "You know I can't go there you know what that guy thinks of me now" but he deletes it and writes "Sure but i cannot buy anything". She doesn't reply so he turns off his computer, and packs his bag. He has his job interview today so he wore a nice suit and tie, he speaks to himself in the mirror and says "You can get this job. You can be a programmer" but truth be told he has no experience or no idea what to do. But he sets off anyway doing what he does everyday except from getting drunk with friends he's doing good. So he jumped on his bus and sat with someone he knew, it was Freya, freya didn't really enjoy the company of Carl but she put up with it this short time. It came to Carl's stop and he jumped off and he thought about what Freya had said "going to shop with a few mates this weekend" and he thought she was hanging around with kerris as well. But anyway Carl carried on and went to IT building in town. Carl had always wondered what inside this place but he's here he a very different opinion about it, IT WAS A DUMP rubbish everywhere, ripped wallpaper and even a few drunken employees! The one clean person walked up to Carl asked him to follow her. She lead him into a very clean, sleek and beautiful office with posters with IT puns, she asked him "are you here interview?" "Yes" I answered "Carl?" "Yes" I repeated.
