Torn Apart and Teared Away Summary
Lori and Derek were the best of friends, up until the fifth grade. derek was moving away to California and Lori was suffering from the loss of her mother last week.
Over the years, these two have been becoming more distant and distant each day.
Loretta May Lerman (Lori) has been living in Riverside, Connecticut all of her life.
She's on the drill team and on the scholastic decathlon. Although she may sound like a geek, she looks and acts like nothing you would ever suspect.
She looks like the perfect cheerleader, but acts so much like a skater boy. Living with her father and her two brothers, life isn't as easy you would think it is.
Derek Kersha is a nerd inside of school, but outside he's a bad boy who's a street racer with the nickname of D.K (drift king). He isn't very social at school because he's known as a loser.
But what happens when these two people paths cross again. Will they remember each other? Will they fall in love? Or will they be forever invisible to each other.
