Chapter 2: Connecticut Memories
Derek's POV:
UGH!! I can't freaking believe this!! Right when i finally get my 15 minutes of fame, my parents decide to move back to Connecticut. There is nothing good about Connecticut, its a boring old place.
There is only one good thing about Connecticut and get any better than it... Lori. Lorreta May Lerman is my soulmate and i know it. I've never gotten over her, i've never thought about any other girl but her.
And i bet she is still waiting for me too. It all started in 5th grade, my dad got a big job promtotion... in California, and I felt so bad for her, well me actually. I wanted to stay because i had liked her since the 1st grade. Plus, her mom died recently and we both were leaving her, with her brothers and dad.
**FLASHBACK** :)
In 2rd grade, we were at the park, and i asked her "Hey, I wonder how the kiss mommy and daddy do feel like, do you know?" And she said
" How would i know, im not a mommy or daddy! Oooh i have an idea!!"
"What is it?"
"Ok, lets pretend im mommy and your daddy, ok! and Belle is our baby, ok!"
"Ok, Oh Honey im home."
"Oh, hello, Derek my dear." She giggles
I giggle too "Im great, how is baby Belle?"
"Oh she is fine, i made food."
"Oooh Yummy."
She grabs a granola bar and gives it to me. "Here you go!"
"Thank you" I finish it "Lori, when do i get to do the mommy and daddy kiss?"
"Ok, right now." She gets up from the swing set and meets face to face with me.
She starts blushing, and i do too. Then we do a quick peck, and we giggle a little bit.
Then we start playing tag, that kiss meant everything to me, i saw a future with her, she was mine and i just knew it.
**END OF FLASHBACK**
The only thing that makes me happy the most is Lori... and i can't wait to see her now. Me and Lori forever and ever. The only thing that makes Connecticut Shine
