Chapter 14 (Katy's POV):

"J-jose?" I stutter.

"It is you! How are you?" He says picking me up and hugging me. Pedro growls and Jose looks in his direction.

"Uh, yeah. Um this is Pedro," I say awkardly getting away from him. Juan raises an eyebrow at me and Jose narrows his eyes. 

"Her boyfriend," Pedro adds bringing me closer to him. I notice Jose tense and Pedro smirks.

"Oh. Well I didn't know you were here in Mexico," Jose says looking me in the eyes.

"Yeah I came for vacation," I reply.

"Katyyy!" I hear a voice yell. I turn to find Moiseis, Jose's brother coming towards me. Omg I didn't realize how much I missed him. I meet him halfway and hug him tightly.

"I missed you," I say letting him go.

"You know I missed you to. So how is my homegirl doing?" He asks putting his arm around my shoulder. Before I know it he's on the floor with a very angry Pedro glaring at him.

"Pedro what the hell?!" I yell helping Moiseis up.

"Who are these guys?" he snaps glaring at Moiseis.

"Yeah Pedro please calm down," I say.

"What the fuck man? What is you're problem? I'm Katy's best friend," Moiseis snaps.

" Katy I need to talk to you," Jose says staring at me intently. I feel my heart speed up and I get confused. I though I was over him...

"Okay," I reply.

"You're not going anywhere with him," Pedro booms grabbing me and pulling me against his chest.

"Pedro we're just going to talk," I say trying to get out of his grip. "Please?" I ask pouting. His eyes soften and he lets go of me.

"Fine. But if he touches you I swear I'll kill him," he replies glaring at Jose. The first few of minutes we walk in silence and I wonder where he's taking me. He stops at smoothie shop and I smile at him. He knows how much I love smoothies... He orders two smoothies and insists on paying.

"So that's your boyfriend?" He asks as our smoothies arrive. 

"Yeah," I answer nervously. 

"He seems really possesive," he states studying my face.

"Yeah, it just that-" I start but don't know how to explain it.

"Are you happy with him?" He asks.

"Yes."

"Katy... I love you."

My eyes snap up to his and I feel like my heart is about to explode. I waited for this day to come and it never came, but now here I am with him.
