"I hate this place so much.." I said to myself with a soft modern tone voice. I heard loud, rushing, and scrambling on the carpeted ground from the living room. "Get off of me you freaking monster!" My mom cried gasping for breath. I rushed into the living room in shock and stood by the entrance in fear. I didn't want to get caught up in the commotion so I stood there and sorrowed. "You said you would never hit me again, you are such a lier!" My step dad Derrick finally came to his senses even though he was in a drunk statement and was out of this world. He balanced himself off of her body slowly. My mom hurried into her room weeping from his terrifying energy. "I'm so sorry son", my step dad said. "NO! You are drunk and you never understand nor realize how much you are hurting this family!" I walked away, hurt with my heart feeling crushed into scattered pieces. The next morning I woke up, I centered myself in the middle of my bedroom floor and prayed.
