Luke and I got back to the house first because the rest all went to get food, we sat on the sofa cuddling, knowing it wouldn't last forever. After this week I wouldn't see him for 18 months.
The rest came through the door carrying their food.
"We got you guys chicken burgers, that okay?" Nikki called in.
"Sure, I'm starving!" Luke said as he roughly pulling his arm from around me. My head jerked. Was he annoyed at me? All I had done since he told me he was leaving was cuddle him and cry.
I got up and walked to the kitchen now getting angry. I didn't look at him as I got my burger. I brought my food over to the couch and sat down beside my bag. I took my purse out and put the money for my meal on the counter. I sat back down and ate my food silently.
Nicole's P.O.V
Chris went and sat down by herself, Luke on the other side of the room. They were usually joined at the hip. Something bad must have happened. I went to walk over to her but got distracted by Beau who grabbed my waist and pulled me to him. I grabbed some ice from the drinks as we were hugging and slid it down his shirt. He leapt away from me. We all erupted into laughter. He got the ice and smushed it against my face. I squirmed to get away but he was so strong. I kissed him as I knew his focus would change to the kiss instead of the ice.
He smiled mid kiss, which made me ecstatic. I was starting to fall madly in love with him and I could tell he was falling for me too.
Jai's P.O.V
She was sitting there by herself. I guessed Luke was being stupid. He was so lucky to have a girl like her, but he just kept fucking it up.
I went over and sat down beside her. She went to stand up but I grabbed her arm.
"Chrissy, what the fuck is going on" I whispered. I didn't want tension in the group because I didn't want to start drifting from two of my best friends because of Luke.
She hugged me and told me she'd talk to me later about it.
"Guys I'm gonna head next door, I'm wrecked" She shouted in to the kitchen.
She smiled at me and left.
As soon as she walked out, Luke told us he needed to talk to us all. The rest of them came in and sat around the sitting room, all anxious of what was coming.
"Remember I got contacted about that record deal?" he asked a lump starting to form in his throat. "Well they called me the other day telling me that they couldn't wait any longer for me to let them know how I felt. I've been postponing meetings ever since the girls arrived" he said looking at Nicole. "I've decided I'm going to do it" he squeaked as tears started to roll down his face. "My flight leaves next week. I'm staying with mum for 18 months and then I'll be back!" He exclaimed.
My jaw dropped, he was my twin. What would I do without him. We told each other everything. I got up, looked at Luke and said "I'm happy for you", smiled and left the house.
