The Murder of the prince of Eliza (1/2)

That morning I was called to the Eliza court for a meeting with the king and queen. "I haven't seen the royals in a while." Russell said. He didn't like the royals, and they didn't like him. "And I intend to keep it that way" he told me that morning. We had to walk past the garden to get to the court. I made sure not to make any eye contact with the animals in the garden. Once we were at the court Russell didn't bother to knock on the big steel door, he just walked right in. I peeked through the door and noticed that the court was filled. I almost ran at the sight of all those people! I hated huge crowds. Russell came back out, he was acting different. "Ms.Flora , the king and queen are asking for you" he said , only he sounded sick, like those weren't his words coming out of his mouth. I walked in without saying a thing to him. The king looked at me with an angry expression. "What have I gotten myself into?" I thought. I hadn't caused any trouble to the royals in such a long time. What could I have possibly done?
-Flashback-
"Hey Russell! I have an idea that we should try" Russell looked at me with a worried expression. "What is it this time Flor" he said , sounding annoyed. I frowned at him then I said in a proud voice "Let's go visit the royals" . Russell loved the royals. They were always so good to him.
-Back to present day-
I went and sat down at the front of the court. All eyes were on me, it made me nauseous. "Flora Rose, you are under arrest for the murder of Prince Alejandro!" Said the guard standing right next to me. My whole world froze. "W-What? I didn't even know the royals had a son??!" I thought to myself in panic. "WHAT? I've never killed any man in my life!!" I said, almost falling out of my chair. Everyone in the room stood up and almost attacked me , at least before the guards stopped them. "Flora Rose, I sentence you to prison , FOR LIFE!" said the queen in a very angry tone. My whole world started to spin and then everything went black.

That's all I remembered after that. Then I woke up in a prison cell. The cell bars were made out of licorice. I though for a moment. "Wait... The cell bars..are MADE OF LICORICE!" I thought to myself. I bit through one of the bars and a big chunk came off. I started eating my way through two more bars before I just stepped out. I looked around and noticed no one was here. "Flora!" A familiar voice said. I looked at the cell next to mine , it was Russell! "Russell! Oh my god are you ok?!" I said. He nodded , he looked extremely tired. "I'm fine Flora. Just get me out of here" . He hated licorice , so I ate some of the bars for him. "Thanks Flor" he said while kissing my cheek softly. I smiled and lightly slapped him. "Gross. Don't ever do that" we both laughed.

Once we got out of the prison we went to the castle. The roof of the castle was made of gingerbread and the sides were huge lollipops with pillars made of candy canes.  "It looks delicious " Russell said while licking his lips. We walked up the marshmallow steps and stood in front of the huge chocolate doors. "Password please" said a voice. "Somos los caramelos royals" I said in my best Spanish voice. "You may enter" said the voice again. The doors suddenly open. Then everything goes black.
