2,000 years later...
Natsume doesn't seem to have aged very much. Though she's older than any creature, her facial structure shows that she is 16. She doesn't need much to live. In fact, she's not even alive. She is immortal.
It's spring. Crisp, refreshing air. The boisterous silence of the forest. And her wolf, of course. Whom she pats on it's head and continues her walk. He then transforms into a human. "Where ya headed today?" He asked. "To the village." She replied smiling brightly. Almost as bright as the celestial lights. "I also need some more paints and charcoal." She glanced at Ash, her wolf. "And Ash? If you're going to join me, please find your clothes."
Together, they walk through her forest to the small town in the middle of what seems like nowhere. Her big silver eyes peering through the crowd, looking for that one special art supply shop. She spot it and starts running with Ash tailing behind. Her blue and white curls falling behind her. She reaches the door and carefully creeps through the tightly packed shelves. Trying her best not to break any of the glass figurines racked all through the shelves. Ash, on the other hand immediately breaks one. A purple dragon. She pays for it while glaring at Ash the entire time.
After that mess was cleared up, Natsume continues her hunt for her needed items. Through shelves and rows of stuff, pencils, paper, glitter glue. Nothing. She didn't find her paint or charcoal until she looked on the top shelf on the last row, waaaaaay in the back out of her reach. Ash was off chasing some animal which left her alone. It took her 10 minuets to realize that climbing on a shelf that wasn't even bolted to the rotting wood wall correctly was a very bad idea. She fell but....she was caught. By a young man who seemed different...inhuman..
He had blood red hair and was dressed in all black. His crystal blue eyes met hers as she felt herself blush. He slowly brought his face closer to hers...they kissed..
At least, that's what happened in her mind. "Are you okay miss..?"
She snapped out of her trance and answered "huh? OH!! Yes. I'm fine, thank you." He puts her down and she dusts off her red shorts. "Here. Let me get that for you." He reaches over the very top and retrieves her paint and charcoal. "Oh...you didn't have to...I could've gotten it myself... Thanks though." She takes her things, smiles and goes to find Ash.
