Every-time

Chapter 2

A few days later in Finance class, Melina noticed that her stomach was starting to hurt. And it wasn't the tummy cramping hurt either. It was more like knives stabbing her belly and she cried out in pain.

"Melina what's wrong?"

"My stomach is hurting so badly."

"It's hurts, it hurts," Melina sobbed, repeating the phrase 'it hurts' a couple more times before passing out from the pain.

"Someone call 911!" someone screamed."

At the hospital a few hours later, Melina woke up asking the doctor, "Is the baby ok?"

"I'm sorry Melina but you lost the baby."

"What? N-no! This has to be a mistake!"

"I'm so sorry Ma'am," Dr. Hanson replied somberly.

Melina begin to cry. "I am going to kill Julius for killing my baby."

A Week Later...

Melina was released from the hospital and went back to school. Heading into the lounge where Julius, Jace, and Dimitri sitting and talking, she walked up to them and grabbed Julius by his ear. Crying out in pain, Julius exclaimed, "What the hell Melina!"

"How could you do this to me!"

"Do what?!?" Julius yelled back in confusion and anger.

"Because of you I've lost my baby, and I trusted you!" Melina cried.

"I promised you: I didn't do this," Julius explained.

"Then who did!" Melina yelled.

"I think I know who did it." Julius said

"Who?" she asked

"Dimitri did it."

"Why would he do something like this?"

"Because he like you."

"Likes me?" Melina half-laughed, half-cried. She ran a hand through her hair several times, beginning to pace back and forth.

"I've seen him checking you out lately." Julius explained,

"I am sorry for accusing you for killing my baby," Melina replied quietly.

"It's ok. You are having a rough time. I am always here for you if you ever need to talk." Julius said giving Melina a hug.

"I know. And you are the best friend anyone could ever ask for." Melina replied managing to give Julius a small smile, despite the situation she was currently in.
