Angel in disguise

There was me
Sitting in the darkness of the brightest sun
With my heart sinking down with burden of ton

Wings which made me once fly
Were the ones dragging me down the aisle

But little did i know
It was the darkest night before the dawn was about to glow

On the clouds riding against the wind
Came in the angel of my life perfectly lightening up the midst

Lovingly she adorned the crown of my heart
Fixing up the shattered pieces fallen apart
Every curl forming across her shining lips
Were enough to melt away a piece of my messed up drift

The first time ever in my world
The happiness hidden deep down began to unflur
As she enriched my soul with her innocence and true love
All the blues of my life started to blur

But who says angels dont have their own roller coasters
While saving my life she was herself struggling against the drenching cluster

But still she never failed a single day
To light up a smile across my way

Wish i could ever find the perfect alignment of words
To express the feelings that brought down in my soul floods

Wish i could ever make her feel safe in my arms
Fading down her every pain with my love that holds on warmth

Oh!!!! Thats what hurts the most
I can never bring everything she deserves to her coast

Because she is the most beautiful angel
And i am just another ordinary girl
