Imagine #7; Caleb.

You walk up the steps on your best friends and next door neighbours house.

Once you reach the door you lightly knock on it and wait for someone to answer, you've known them your whole life but still refuse to walk in without knocking.

"Y/n, just walk in whenever you come over." Caleb says while opening the door.

"I would but it doesn't feel right." You sign.

Caleb laughs at you and grabs your arm, pulling you in.

You've always wished that you could hear his laugh and voice. You'll most likely never be able to, your parents could never afford proper treatment for your deafness. When you were younger you had a hearing aid, but your hearing eventually got so bad that not even a hearing aid would help.

You smiled at him and shook your head.

"Aren't you doing that YouTube collab thing today?" You signed, looking at him, waiting for a response.

He nodded his head, "Sure am, wanna be in it?" He said as he signed it.

"Wouldn't it be weird for a deaf girl to be in it?" You questioned.

He shook his head once again and grabbed your arm, dragging you down to the filming room, which is just the basement.

You see a variety of different YouTubers here, you feel out of place.

"Yo Caleb!" A brown haired boy called out.

"Brennan." He nodded his head at him.

"I'll explain to them what's happening, and the basics they need to know about you, okay?" He softly said.

You nodded your head at him as he walked off towards the other's.

"Okay guys, that's Y/n, she's deaf and she's gonna help with the collab."

You were watching them, trying to read their lips. You are pretty good at it, if you say so yourself.

Everyone burst out laughing, "How's a deaf girl gonna be any help?" The brown haired boy known as Brennan said.

"She's useless, Caleb." He said once again.

Before you knew it, Caleb's fist was connected to his face.

You gasped and ran over to them.

"What happened?" You signed to Caleb once you managed to get him off of Brennan.

"Please, go upstairs y/n, I don't want you to get hurt." He signed, you looked down at his lip and saw that it was split open.

You touched his lip, the only thing you wanted right now was to help him. You didn't realise it till just now, but you're in love with Caleb.

You shook your head and grabbed his hand and took him upstairs. "What happened?" His mum, Katie said as she ran over to youse.

"He got into a fight, get everyone to leave, please?" You signed to her.

She nodded her head and went down to the basement. Once she was gone you grabbed Caleb's hand once again and took him into the bathroom.

You patted the bench, signaling him to sit, which is what he done.

"I'm sorry Caleb." you signed to him, before going off and looking for a cloth.

He grabbed your wrist and pulled you up to him, shaking his head as to say 'don't be sorry.'

He let go of your wrist and you grabbed the cloth that you dropped, quickly rinsing it with water you went in front of him.

Slowly and softly dabbing the cloth to his lip, looking into his eyes, you realised they were quite pretty.

You swallowed the lump in your throat, embarrassed you moved your eyes back to his lips and continued to clean his lip.

He moved your hand from his lips and put his hands on your cheeks, then he kissed you.

You almost instantly kissed back. No one's ever kissed you before, you smiled into the kiss.

He pulled away after about 15 seconds.

"I love you." You signed, smiling up at him.

"I love you too, y/n."
