Chapter 1: The Mysterious Men
Why is the room so dark? Where am I? What is this place?
"Kai, will you take over my place for me?" said a voice.
"Who are you? What do you mean take over your place?"
"K..," Kai's vision of the dark room got darker, where he couldn't see himself no more, "Ka... Kai!" He then opened his eyes and saw his older sister angry.
"Why didn't you get up? Your timer has been ringing for about five minutes," said Lina.
"Sorry, I didn't hear it, I'll go make breakfast now. What do you want for lunch today?"
"It doesn't matter as long as it's good. *yawn* I'm going back to sleep don't wake me up until another ten to fifteen minutes," while going out the door.
It's always the same thing every day, getting up extra early making breakfast and lunch. Then getting ready for school. Me and my older sister has been living together for about six years already, ever since our parents died in a car accident. It might be lonely without them, but we can still manage things though. My sister never went to high school, she went straight to working. She only did this, so we can have a place to live, have food and have clothing. She still can't get full jobs so she has two part time jobs, one during the day and the other at night. I don't really get to see her often due to her work but we still talk from time to time. I've only started my first year in middle school, my sister didn't want me to be like her, so she's going to send me to high school. However, I still want to help me sister with all of the bills and other ruff stuff but she wouldn't allow me until I graduate high school.
"Sis come down and eat your breakfast, its going to get cold if you don't," I yelled up the stairs.
She got down and patted me on my head and told me to hurry up and get ready or she might not be able to drop me off on the first day of school. So I ran up the stairs and got ready, went back down stairs to eat and wash the dishes and left to school.
We didn't really talk in the car today because she was on the phone with one of her bosses. When we arrived at the school she said, "Have a great day," and I said, "Yeah, you too sis." When I got out of the car, I was greeted from all of my old friends in elementary school, while my sister drove off.
"Hey how are you Kai?" said Kino.
"Good, but not as great as starting my first year in middle school," Kino was my first friend in elementary school, he even knows things about me that others don't know. He's always super happy and everybody loves him, but mostly the girls, maybe because he has brown mid-long hair, dark brown eyes and looks good in anything.
"How can you be happy on the first day of school? School is so boring!" said Shiyoshi.
"I know school is boring, but we have to live with it, it's always going to be part of our life," Shiyoshi is always a trouble maker, he causes all sorts of trouble for everyone, but it's also fun causing them too. He's just like Kino, super happy and cool; although, their different too. Shiyoshi can get any girl he likes and break up with them not making them cry, and by the next day it's as if they never went out but the bests friends. Shiyoshi has super dark red eye's, mid-long orange hair and also looks good in anything.
"Yeah right, once I graduate high school I'm never going back to school," said Ino.
"But don't you need to go to collage in order to get a job?" Ino is a very uncaring guy about school. He's also very strong, maybe because he takes fighting lessons. Ino isn't very good with the girls, so he never went out with a girl before; although, the girls do say that he looks cute in a way, but way to scary. He has short blond hair, green eyes and dresses very weird looking.
"Ha-ha, Ino, Kai's right you know. You have to go to collage first before you can get a job," said Hikaru.
"Okay, enough talking, lets go and see what classes we're in, said Kaito.
"Yeah, all right," Hikaru and Kaito are twins, they do everything together. Although, their completely different from one another. Hikaru has short dark but also light blue hair and eye's. While Kaito has short dark blue hair and eye's.
I don't really know much about them, but every time I see them, their always together for some reason. Also when one of them is with me, the others will come along as well. It just fells as if their just following me every where I go, and I can't shake them off. However, I got used to it in elementary school; I'm fine with them following me every where now. We all became good friends in the 2nd grade, or at least that's all I remember, because it was in the 2nd grade that my parents got into the car accident. So ever since then, everything in my elementary school life was a blur then. However, this is a new year, a new school, what can possible go wrong?
I might have spoken to soon, because when I went to my first class, role taken, a office teacher came up to my teacher and whisper some stuff to him. His eye's widen with surprise and wonder, then called out my name to step out for a second. So I did, but my friends where also worried and wonder what was going on like I did.
When me and the teachers got to the door, the office teacher said, "We're so sorry, but you got to head to Hushina hospital, your sister got into a car accident and was rushed there by the ambulance."
In that instant my eye's widen in surprise and horror. I then rushed out to the shoe locker to get my shoe's, but to my surprise my five friends came after me and asking what's wrong. I told them what the teachers told me, they all had the same look I did and we all rushed to the hospital. When we arrived at the hospital, I asked for my sisters name and the counter lady told me the floor and bedroom number. Me and my friends decided to rush up the stairs then going up the elevator to the floor and bedroom.number, where my sister lay.
When we arrived, and saw her laying there with bandages almost all over her, I started to cry in pain. My friends where also crying because they also knew my older sister, but when the doctor came in, I wiped my tears and asked what had happen and if she will survive her injuries. He said everything would be alright and that he also contacted my other family members. A few minutes later, most of our closes family members came in and saw me and my sister, before they got here I told my friends to go back to school. My family questioned the doctor like I did and he told them the same thing that he told me. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a guy next to my sister, I tried to say something, but no sound came through. The guy then putted his right hand above my sisters chest, and said something that I didn't know. The gap between his hand and my sisters chest started to glow, and the slight pain on her face started to disappeared, and her eyes opened. When my family members turned around and saw her eye's open, they stared to cry and told me to go back to school. I complained to stay with my sister but my uncle, who didn't really like me, yelled at me and his wife to take me back to school.
I arrived back at school, thanking for the ride, and left. It was lunch time when I came back. My friends saw me and came toward me, they question if my sister was alright. I didn't answer them because I didn't fell like talking for the rest of the day.
