Samantha's P.O.V
"Samantha where have you been," my mom scolds.
"I-er I went outside for some fresh air," I lied smoothly.
There is no way I am going to tell my mom that I just met my past-life's granny. And the weird part is that SHE IS 20 YEARS OLD.
"Oh I see, it was too cold outside," my mom says.
I rush upstairs. I just had my "sweet 16." Well I am not complaining cause it was the best party I have ever had. Not to mention starting an adventure. Well I already have a boyfriend so that i guess might lead to some misunderstandings.
"Honey why don't you invite Jake over."
Jake is my boyfriend, and has been for 2 years. I guess we are pretty lucky cause everyone else at my school have relationships that last for 3 weeks. So ya we are pretty lucky.
"Sure, why not."
I call Jake on my new cell phone *jumps up and down while squealing*
"Y-hello."
"Hey bun-bun, it's me Samantha."
"Hey munchkins."
"Wanna come over?"
"Sure, when?"
"Right now would be great."
"Cool, see ya then."
"See-ya!"
*hangs up* I met Jake way back in 9th grade. We used to sit next to eachother in science, and we had a blast. At that time, I had braces and really big-ugly glasses. Nowadays, I wear contacts. Oh and i got rid of my braces...so ya life is a lot easier.
DING-DONG
I rush up to see if Jake hopefully shows up.
I see my 6"0 tall boyfriend with dirty-blonde hair. He wears khaki shorts and T-shirt saying "Wish your girlfriend was HOT like mine." Of course I laugh and blush. I BLUGHED..ok that doesn't sound good. Nevermind.
"Hey munchkin happy birthday!"
He pulls out a wrapped present. It was small araound the size of a small tea-cup. It jad pink and purple polka-dots.
"Oh-my! Y-you brought this for me!"
"Of course munchkin," Jake replies.
I open it. It was a small box, and the I open it more until I find the most beautiful ring. It is silver, and had engravings. I looked a bit closer and saw that it said "I love you."
"Oh Jake! Thank-You," I say as I cry.
Nobody has given me a nice decent present. I guess that's what the girl said about Owen. Jake might be Owen. My Owen.
