After the tumble, we dropped on the dirt of some sort of bunker. But, I can't fucking tell. It's so dark, pitch black, everywhere. We have to go blind on this one. Then, a pair of glowing eyes appeared. We armed our asses up to fight.

Then we heard a shout, "Wait!! Don't shoot!!".

God damn it, He must've heard one of us cocking our guns.

"I'm passive, honest! I could tell you secrets about The Great Plague of 2098!". "A'ight then, tell us!",

"Okay, but first...", he lit a torch to show an old man maybe in his 50s wearing a pair of night vision goggles, a lab coat, and a pretty nifty clothes from his time. He coughed and began his tale.

"This is how it started...", he said in a weird manner.

"The Great Plague of 2098 started when one of my top assistant scientists , Christopher G. Mills, wanted to cure a great disease that rattled mankind for many years.

To achieve that, he created formula 6-213-11. It was to cure all sorts of illnesses. The formula, however, was poorly made and created with artificial microorganisms named 6-213-11A & 3-181-14, asbestos and some other ingredients unknown .

Tests were made on unknowing citizens taking a pill containing a powdered form of the formula.

After a few days, symptoms of Rabies, deformation skin, Jaundice, and some brain problems would show. Then, the thirst for human flesh happened a week after.

The government started banning the use of the drug but its creator was adamant of its abilities. He started reproducing his formula as a ingredient to other  drugs .

After that, many patients were affected. Days past when the plague started.

Those who toke the drug spewed contaminated puke and saliva. They'd spew that puke on anyone they see. Almost half the population was infected.

To stop this, men of the military fought these mindless monsters, but to no avail."

"So what happened ne-?". "Silence you cunt!", he answered answered furiously. "Anyways", he continued.

"A cure was created too, it did work, but only for a short while. It was ineffective and made the monsters more immune to decontamination. One choice was only left, to kill all humans in sight."

"So you're telling us that some batshit crazy, scientist created a drug that would eventually lead to the decline of humanity?", asked Alest.

"Guess so...", he answered.

"Wait, who the hell are you?", I asked.

"The name's Alestrius, Alestrius I. Banfith"
