Tyler with a fan recently in Detroit, Michigan, where the new show will begin to film.
Although Teen Wolf will be ending with the final season of 6b in the summer, Tyler Posey, 25, is already getting ready to film for a new show. He auditioned for the new show back in November of 2016, but kept quiet about it. "I wasn't even sure I'd get the part. I wanted to keep quiet about it especially since Teen Wolf was airing that month. I'd gotten the call a few weeks later, saying I got the part. I still kept quiet- only told a few friends and family. I wanted to wait until season 6a had ended." Tyler Posey said in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly.
He's said to be cast along new actress, Adelaide Green, 22, and the Maze Runner star, Thomas Sangster, 26.
Tyler won't be getting away from the supernatural anytime soon since the show is set around supernatural creatures, yet again. He will also be playing another werewolf. After having a chat with producer Logan West, we've found out numerous things.
The show will be called the City of Hidden Souls and is set to premiere around October of 2017. It is about a latino teenager, Tyler Posey, named Isaac Ramirez who experiences supernatural occurrences after his 16th birthday. His mother, Gabrielle Ramirez, played by Sofía Vergara, is confirmed a werewolf. Each offspring of the supernatural creature experiences the start of their wolf-abilities on and after their 16th birthday. His biggest enemy at school, Emilia Robinson, played by Adelaide Green, just so happens to be a vampire, which she has kept a secret for so long. Emilia Robinson is said to be aged 17 while her younger brother, Dylan Robinson, played by Thomas Sangster, is aged 16. Though, he is a British actor, it wasn't mentioned whether he will be in the show or not.
In the interview with Entertainment Weekly, Tyler says, "My character [Isaac Ramirez] will be gay on the show. It is sort of... different for me, but I'm happy to be playing more characters with different sexualities. I've been hoping for that opportunity."
