I look around the peaceful setting. I watch as the bambicorns graze in the fields by the spirit lake. The rocket bocket birds are singing there songs of rock. I look at the lake, eating the fluff cakes from the fluff trees. Then everything goes silent. I am lifted into the air. I scream at the winged beast above me, "Lobster! Put me down now!" The dragoncorn, Lobster, lets out a soft chuckle.
"What's wrong Shrimp? Do you not like flying?" She asks in an amused voice. "But I guess if you truly want down I can drop you off."
"Yah just dro... oh no." I start to say before falling out of the sky. the next thing I know I hit something cold. I start cursing the white dragoncorn who is laughing hysterically. Then she goes deadly silent and smells the air. Just then I feel a pain in my side. I let out a scream and glance at a purple glob. I realize the unicorns have come for me.
Lobster lets out a roar and fire surrounds the unicorns. I hear them scream in agony before I'm lifted into the air and black out.
* * *
I wake up in my human form. I look over to see a girl with brown hair and green eyes I automatically realize it is Lobster. She is bent over a book, furiously writing away with a pen. I must have made a sound for she suddenly looked up. Quickly she put away the book and walked over to me.
"What happened?" I croak, for my throat is dry and raspy like sand paper. She hands me a glass of water before replying.
"The unicorns," she says curtly, "they attacked the spirit lake.
I sigh and go to stand up before crying out in pain. I look down and see a bandage going around my lower abdomen. "The pot root hasn't kicked in yet so don't stand." Lobster says carefully pushing me down onto the cot.
"What unicorn stabbed me?" I ask.
"Your half sister Potato." Lobster replies. A deep anger swells inside of me at the thought of that smelly banana faced chocolate pudding.
"I cant believe that hot fudge chocolate cheesecake." I say. Lobster gives me a horrified expression.
"You don't have to use that kind of language." She says.
"Where are we" I ask, realizing for the first time, I don't recognize anything.
"My home." Lobster replies with a smug smile. "It's enchanted to teleport places."
"So wait," I say, "you have wings, and your house can teleport? That's just not fair."
"Yup." She says. I roll my eyes, then my stomach lets out a loud rumble. "Sounds like someones hungry." She turns around and disappears through a door. After a few minutes she returns with a small wooden bowl.
"What'd you bring me? CAKE!" I practically scream at the thought of food.
"Better!" Lobster says with false cheer. "I got you soup!"
My cheer at seeing food instantly dies. Soup. Of course she would bring me soup. "I don't want soup." I say. "I want cake."
"Why not? It's Souper good." She says before breaking into hysterical laughter.
"Ha ha ha, you're so punny." I say dryly, before taking the soup and eating it greedily. Then I fall into a deep sleep.
