Chapter One-Branch's Crush

After Poppy became queen, life changed for us all in the snack pack. DJ and Guy Diamond are going out, Creek hasn't been back for a year, Satin and Chenille were the best fashionista twins in the troll village and the Bergan's were all happy and having fun. But for me? Geez I can't stop thinking about Poppy. She's always there when I need her and she's the best queen ever! But...I always want to tell her about my feelings but I don't want her to be really stressed over this...and freaked out. I dreamt she was always there by my side every night, her sweet, calm voice in my head on repeat as we sang true colors. I woke up sometimes to see poppy in my room, smiling and giggling as I sang in my sleep...I blushed a lot when I was even near her or saw her and by accident I saw her in the shower...it was a total mistake...but she forgave me, Was it weird that she forgave me? I thought she would have hated me afterwards. I have thought that she watched me in the shower but...maybe I was dreaming?

"Branch!" I heard someone shout at my room door while I was finishing up my shower. It was Poppy! Oh no what do I do?! I slowly walked to the door only in a towel around my waist and I opened the door, Poppy looked at me with a flustered red face and she hugged me tight, holding an invitation out "here Branch, Your invited to my Slumber party!" I smiled and took the invitation. "Thanks Poppy, you know I wouldn't miss it for the world!" She smiled wider and blushed darker than ever as she hugged me tighter. Was it hug-time already? Meh, I hugged back and shut the door, asking if Poppy wanted anything while she was here, she said no and so I left it at that. When I was walking to my bedroom I saw Poppy was following me, I hid my bright red face and she asked "Branch...would you ever want to be a king?" I blushed hard. Of course I did but I was scared that Poppy would reject me since I was quite mean to her.... But then she stopped me and looked me deep in the eyes, she said "I want you as my king Branch" She kissed me and my eyes widened at this, her soft lips on mine? My face was as red as a tomato but of course I kissed back...this moment was unforgettable.... We broke the kiss and she said into my ear...

"I love you, my grumpy troll..."
